But I'm nervous about the Anesthesia. I don't know. He is a small animal. The vet is saying there is some risk. But nothing to worry. But I'm worried.

I talked with 2 vets one old one and one young one , means it's a young man. The old vet said it's totally fine. Nothing will happen. But I don't know.

Guys please give me some suggestions. Please guys, please.

What did he weigh this morning?

If his molars are definitely overgrown then he will need a dental.
There is always a risk with anaesthetic but if his molars are overgrown then the dental needs to be done. Is the vet knowledgeable?

Guys see.. honestly here in odisha where I'm staying people hardly know about these animals and their care. These are exotic animals. And yes .. the hospital where I'm taking him for treatment it's a good one and it's a govt hospital. The vet is from surgery department. And Seems to be good. Rest I don't know. Seriously I'm worried...

Guys my guinea pig one side ear is puss and other side is bleeding little bit.... Is it a clear indication of ear mites? .. like he has appointment in mon with the vet .. his test result will come one that day.
But today morning I noticed his other side ear is bleeding 😕🥺😭. I feel so frustrated. Please help me by confirming this guys.

No it isn’t a clear indication of ear mites.

The pus is an indication of infection.
The bleeding from the other ear is of concern.

Look ... I have kept him separately from other piggies so there is no chance some other piggy can bite him

I am sorry I keep hoping there will be good news and that he become well again. Bleeding of any kind is a worry of course 😢

Rest I don't know... This problem was not there from today morning only this is issue is there

Please don't aggrivate his ear too much by looking but can you tell where it is coming from? Inside the ear itself or outside? 🙏

How many other piggies do you have?
Are they all boys?

Is he still beside the other piggies?
He needs to be beside them so they can have through the bar interaction, otherwise he will get lonely?

Look he is with them but I seperated like .. I have just Put a bar inbetween then but they can see eachother and interact

That’s fine.

If you have three male guinea pigs then Do be aware that you will be highly unlikely to ever be able to put him back with the others.
Three boars together usually fail as they find it hard to make a hierarchy work as a trio. Boars do best in pairs.

Now he has been separated it is likely the other two will refuse to ever let him back in so he is likely to need to stay in the separate cage permanently.
Do be aware that the cage size needed to keep three boys together is a minimum of 300x100cm

Yes .... They are staying in a very large cage ...

That’s good if it is larger than 300x100cm.
Two boars together need 180x60cm.
As I say though, now they have been separated, getting a boar trio (which are notoriously unstable) back together is likely to be very hard so do prepare that he may need to live alone from now onwards.

All you can do is continue with treatment but the vet urgently if bleeding continues.
We cannot say whether it has anything to do with ear mites though

I’m afraid we cannot suggest anything.
It’s impossible for us to know what is wrong with him.
All you can do is contact your vet, and continue with daily weight checks and syringe feeding
