Need help!

Pus and swelling signifies that there is infection.
That will need to be treated with the correct antibiotics and painkillers.
You need to go to the best vet you can find. You cannot risk your piggy being prescribed any antibiotic which isn’t safe again. As a guide any antibiotic which which ends with -cillin cannot be given to him.

Is he eating?
Is he pooping? Are his poops normal or is he suffering from any diarrhoea
Is he moving about?
Have you weighed him this morning?

He is not eating grass and leaves, I have to syringe feed him. But he is eating fruits and veggies. He is active now. His poops are getting better and yes they are normal looking. And his weight had decreased but now he is getting better with his weight.

But I'm worried about this vets and their prescribed medications. But I'm going to take him to the best animal hospital available in our area, not to any private vet clinic, they don't know anything.

Hay and grass is the most important part of the diet and syringe feeding a recovery feed or mushed pellets is what is needed to replace the hay/grass portion of the diet when he isn’t eating hay for himself. It is the fibre in the recovery feed which is needed to keep his gut functioning.

At this point the syringe feeding is needed to stop him from losing weight.

Vegetables are merely supplementary in the diet. Fruit should not be fed except as a very occasional treat and no more than once a week.

You can double check whether any medication is safe to give - we can help also.

Today I have Grinded hay/ grass and green leaves with some piggy pallets and given to him in syringe. He was eating it.

That’s good. Make sure you are giving it to him every few hours and keep up with weighing him every morning so you know you had given him the right amount the previous day to keep his weight stable

Thank you guys... U all are so good. Great piggy lover. I can feel my baby boy's pain. I wish and pray to god all animals and human beings stay safe and healthy in this world. Love you all 💕 please guys pray for my baby boy.

Hiii.... Yes today I have taken him to hospital. We spent the whole day there. X-ray happened. Puss is filled in his ear. Doctor prescribed drops and painkiller. Also a medicine which will make him feel hungry. Now I'm syringe feeding him.

Bless him. Sending healing vibes to your piggy. What’s his name?

He may have a deep puncture wound from the cat's canines. Treating him may be complicated, so a vet is necessary. I hope things work out. He will probably need pain killers, poor little fellow.
