Actually the thing is here in odisha, india not much specialised vet or medicine or treatment is available for guinea pigs. People here even get confused with a rat and a guinea pig 🥹🥺😐😑😶. But yes after using this medicine what I feel the swelling is decreased. And he is eating also.

Meloxicom is an anti inflammatory painkiller given orally.
The 1.5mg/ml is the dog version which is absolutely fine.
How many times a day is he getting it?
How many ml at each dose? (It isn’t usually dosed by the drop )

He is eating the pain killer for one time a day ( 2 drops)

The ear drop. I feel the ear drop is also good. Swelling is decreased. And the puss is coming out automatically from his ear. He is eating his pallets on this own.

I have also shifted his cage to a new , open location. Where more light is available with fresh air. He will feel comfortable.

This medicine is being prescribed to increase his hunger. 2 times a day ( 2 drop each time ).

Well done. I would advise you to leave out the spinach though given its very high in calcium and oxalate should not be fed regularly due to the risk of causing bladder stones. Add a different/safe daily veg in instead if you wish.

As a caution to anybody who comes across this thread in the future and wants to try this - please make sure your guinea pig is used to high quantities of grass. Too much grass on unprepared tummies can cause serious illness and make an already poorly piggy worse.
A commercially available recovery feed or purely mushed pellets is the best option to anyone it is available to as it will provide a high fibre content and stable source of nutrition for a poorly piggy.

Actually the spinach and water spinach is really different things. In India mainly the odisha, the state I belong there we call it "kalama Saga".
