Milo has a Melanoma

Brilliant news- that's the first hurdle out of the way. Sending good wishes to you both 🥰

Our brave boy is on his way home. Not looking very pretty but he is eating on his own and quite bright considering. If anything Maude seems more traumatized than Milo. Although, he is full of drugs at the moment, I'm expecting tomorrow may be a difficult day for him.

Glad the operation has been successful. I hope Milo recovers soon.I'm sure that will feel itchy.its in a place where Milo can not reach.
I hope you are okay Yvonne, must be difficult seeing the size of the wound..
Sending moral support...🤗

Thank you, it was quite distressing seeing that wound for the first time. He has taken his meds like a good piggy and I'm just on my way to check on home before we go to bed. I am of course taking him a little treat too.

So pleased to read the updates and see his photo. I hope he has a comfy night and that tomorrow isn't as difficult as you fear, Yvonne. He is a real trooper.

Milo is a little quiet today. He took 18ml of critical care this morning, ate his veggies and is nibbling on hay. Allan is caring for him today as I'm in the office. He managed to find some grass in the garden and Milo seems to be enjoying this.

The wound is a bit red today but doesn't look infected. We are keeping an eye on Maud as I caught her trying to nibble one of the sutures this morning.
