Little Melvins rescue

That’s amazing news! So happy he has found someone who had brought him out of his shell!

Oh wow! I'm sooooooo super happy for Melvin! He landed on great humans to take care of him and find him a companion! This makes me sooo happy! :yahoo:

Thank you for all you are doing for Melvin and now little Peawee Petey! You're amazing! ❤❤❤

Totally! Evan more now than before! because little peewee Petey has bought out so much more of his personality! He’s a real sweetheart!
It's nice when they're together with more pigs. There's more interesting behaviour. Enjoy watching them. :D

Just caught up on this thread. From the rocky beginning to his new best friend. This has really made me smile. I’m so happy for the little might. You’re an amazing owner and an angel

Thank you so much for the update. I am soooo pleased for Melvin and his new friend. I love a happy ending. :luv:

Melvin really was incredibly lucky to have been rescued by you, what a huge difference you have made to his life. He is hardly recognisable as that sad little piggy from the first photo you put on here of him.

I look forward to hearing about their life with you and seeing Petey grow up.

Oh what wonderful news. In such a short space of time, Melvin has gone from being a sad and lonely nervous bag of bones forgotten about in a classroom to a happy, healthy confident piggy with a friend. He lucked out that day you insisted on feeding him in the classroom.

Such a wonderful update - thank you! I’m so chuffed that Melvin has a little friend - what a gorgeous pair they are :hug:and what a lucky piggy Melvin is now:luv:

Thank you so much for sharing even though it seems you've been a little busy! I know lots of us are so keen to follow Melvin's story and wow what a great turn it has taken. There are no words big enough to express how happy I am for him. He gets to have a proper piggy life at last! And he deserves every minute of it 💜

Such brilliant news. So happy for both you and little Melvin.
He deserves the loving home he now has so much, all his little piggy dreams must be coming true.xx

Oh what wonderful news, how lovely ☺️ Melvin has a new little friend in his life! He will be so happy now, it’s funny they take on a new persona, Melvin will be charging around like a spring chicken now x

This is such wonderful news! Long May the bond and friendship continue

Little melvyn looks so extremely happy in those pigtures. I can see such happiness in his eyes. They look gorgeous together and that has made my day :yahoo: Best wishes to you and them for a life full of popcorns, zoomies and love :luv:

Oh my goodness... just happened to see this thread... what a roller coaster you have been on! That poor little fella must have been soooo scared and starving... thank you for rescuing him - the nursery should be fined ! Melvin looks so happy and so pleased he has found a new home and a new friend.. x

That is such wonderful news - not sure whether I want to laugh or cry.
The boys look so cute together.
You have done a fantastic job ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

This is so lovely. Can't believe he has finally got his happy ending. ❤️🙂 Well done for making this happen! 🥰🐖

hi all just a little up date
Melvin and Petey sadly had to come away from each other
Petey hit some adolescent behaviour with force over last few weeks which worried me as Melvin wasn’t always up for putting the youngster in his place...
I made the decision after coming in from work and seeing Melvin in the corner, Petey came wheeling up to the bars.
knowing instantly he wasn’t right I picked him up I found fresh substantial bites on him. I’ve had pigs before to know that this bond won’t work. It’s not fair on Melvin.
so Petey lives next to him now in a separate cage and I’ve neutered him, We are day 3 post op and doing amaz
I’m sorry to say but Petey will be going to a lovey very cavy savy lady who has the most incredible herd and set up.... her whole back garden is a covered over sanctuary for rabbits and pigs ( kept separately) so Pete is going to live in sublime bliss forevermore and I can go see him and see all her other Piggys for a bit of indulgence! Lol I could watch for hours!

Ohhhh what a shame it didn't work out. But at least you still have wonderful Melvin 🙂

Aww such a shame it didn’t work out but it sounds like you have done the right thing. I hope Melvin is doing better now he has been separated from his naughty teenage friend!
