Bucky took a shine to my other half today, he sat like this for a good 5 minutes



He then decided to crawl into my partner’s shirt, which must have been comfy as he left quite a few poops in there.. it’s a good job he loves these piggies as much as I do

Bucky went back to the vets this morning as he started acting a little unwell again. He’s been given another course of antibiotics, and if this doesn’t improve anything they want to do X-rays

Made the mistake of telling people at work and they’re acting like I’m stupid and like he’s not worth it because he’s ’just a guinea pig’

When I had a poorly piggy in the past and was quoted £500 for an operation my dad said how much do they cost? I said about £30. He said just get another one!

Some people just don’t get it.

Thank you Yeah it’s sad, and it reflects on how guinea pigs are treated as a whole unfortunately, like they’re disposable these people are missing out on the loveliest companions!

I don't see any pets as disposable but to try to add some balance, I was astounded by how much individual character and personality guineas have. Having them is so much more than I expected.

It’s been a while! I’ve been so busy, but all piggies are doing well!

Bucky and Steve enjoy time on the bed with us in an evening, whereas Walter and Gus prefer free-roaming the lounge

We also still have foster piggy James with us, who is doing and looking so much better!

He will be going in for his neuter soon hopefully, so not long until he gets a forever home and some piggie wives <3
