Could Really Be Doing With Honest Opinions From Pet Owners

Oh, Fudge, fancy you making all those demands on your Mummy when you knew how tired she was! Great news for both of you. :yahoo:

Wonderful news! It could be the 5 day thing I found that all mine it took 5 days before they perked up after the anaesthetic :) Hopefully she is on the mend & we can have a huge party on the forum to celebrate her 8th Birthday! She is amazing & so are you Adelle for your dedication to her :) xx

She's still got a very runny bum so were going back to the vet in half hour for some fluids udder the skin. Hydration is so important but even more so for her as she's on diuretics every 8 hours for her heart which could cause serious dehydration when coupled with diarrohea.

She's still doing well though, hopefully her poos start to firm soon x

Let us know how she gets on buddy. Sending lots of love to her x

She's fine, she got her fluids and came home and trashed her cage!

Vet agreed that dehydration would set her back a long way so best to keep on top of fluids.

Her stools are a mess.. Paying the price for all that grass and dandelions but she's went from gut stasis to this with no gut stimulants so at least they are moving!

So pleased to hear Fudge is doing well.
Look after yourself Adelle don't make yourself ill forgetting to drink you are precious to us all to.

I just burst into tears seeing that, you must be over the moon Adelle. Aw Fudgie we all love you dearly, such a little fighter. Love and hugs to you both.

Now ... C'mon Adelle... You should know by now that Princesses dont have C&C grids, they have maids to support their 'bottled' water ;)

Does she stick her little pinky toe out when sipping from it like a sophisticated cup n saucer?

You're loving your Saturday night really :)) :luv:

Yay Fudge! Keep up the good work! You are so lucky to have such a dedicated Mummy who does such a great job taking care of you.

Fudge isn't doing great and will be seeing the vet at 9.15 .. We need healing vibes :-(

good luck & everything is crossed tightly for u both. Hopefully just a minor glitch.
C'Mon fudge :luv:

Got my fingers crossed and my herd have their paws crossed for Fudge, good luck!

Thanks everyone, she's come around again.. Her weight was falling really low and she isn't doing much in her cage. Still won't drink or eat her pellets on her own despite my best efforts... However she isn't actually ill. When I'm with her she scoffs food and guzzles water, but she's relying on me to provide it for her. After cuddles she try's to popcorn and will stand and eat her hay when I'm near her but when I walk away she goes to bed. Iv set up the cam on her overnight and she definately isn't doing these things when left alone... She's become reliant on me and I don't know how to fix it!

Blimey, what a conundrum. Can you do your best to get her weight right up then try to wean her from you a little? She's probably feeling mentally weak as well as physically. Best of luck!
