:'( poor little girly, hope she is feeling better by the time she comes home, hugs to you Izzy :smitten:

thanks, it's just the vet said the prognosis isn't good cos she's not responding and i love her so much i just can't imagine being without her :'( :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: come on little darling! mummy loves you! I know you can pull through :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

so much has happened since my sleep, really hoping mimi gets better. and that the vet finds out what the matter is. i can sympathise with the panic attacks, had them for 15 years, had one just 5 minutes ago sitting here typing and the keyboard goes blurry and blakening out, really knocked me around. sending you hugs and cuddles and to little mimi too. did your vet do an ultrasound? was told these can show more than an x-ray. sending hugs and prayers to you both! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

no they haven't done an ultarsound. thanks choloe, it's horrible i black out a lot anyway, but panick attacks are worse, they leave me so limp. :( haven't heard from the vet yet, come on! :( had a bad night kept worrying and thinking of her and crying! my poor baby :'(

(((Izzy))) I know it's hard but try and stay positive. I know I've only been through this once with Cuzzy but the vet wasn't hopeful at all for him, but he did get better at first and the vet was amazed. So they can get it wrong.

They have to prepare you for the worst, they did the same to me with Monty (my dog) and he pulled through as well.

Panic attacks are awful, I had them when I had Post Natal Depression, they come from nowhere and can drain you so I can understand how you feel in that respect.

Always around if you need a natter.

Louise
x

Thanks Lou thats really kind :smitten: i know they can get it wrong, i guess it just came as a shock and my piggies really are all that keep me going so i take things to heart. i know she's a little fighter cos when i first got her from this awful woman who'd neglected her :tickedoff: she was infested with lice and flinching all over, her hair was missing, and she pulled through that.
it's just a hard thought and not being able to see her for myself :'(
thanks again :)

we phoned the vet. she's been rehydrated under her skin and she's having critical care. they've changed the anti-biotic to septrin O0 but she won't eat at all and there's still blood in her poo. they're doing all they can for her. she's going to phone later on to tell us how she's doing. i'm sat here crying, like a right idiot! can hardly see what i'm doing! :'( ::)

(((Izzy))) I'm so sorry, keep us posted. I'm not sure any words can comfort you right now but I'm thinking of you hun. x

Aww Izzy, its ok to cry. I'm glad they've changed the antibiotic, she's in the best place she can be at the moment and I'm sure she'll be all better soon try not to worry :-\ xxxxx

Keeping everything crossed for your little one, I know exactly what you are going through. Sending hugs and wheeks from the gang.

thanks you're all being so kind :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :'( :smitten:

the vet just phoned. she's still not eating, and there's still blood in her poo, but she thinks not quite as much. she's still having re-hydration and cc and anti-biotics, pain killers etc. but she says she's still very poorly, bless her :'( she wants to see how she goes overnight and she hopes that the anti-biotics start to kick in. she wants her to start eating and she would like her tummy to be much less tender. she's gonna phone between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning O0 awww my poor baby :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

You see Izzy thats a bit more positive isn't it? Fingers crossed she is a little better tomorrow. Your vet sounds fantastic! :smitten:

yeah, about the blood you mean? :-\ hehe yeah she's really good, she seems to be there 24/7! :smitten:

i don't know, she hasn't said. they've ruled out stones, will ask. O0 but did yo mean it's more posotive about not quite as much blood?

izzy, it is good news that the vet thinks she is improving a bit, :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: praying and sending hugs that she continues to improve. sure you don't want to clone your vet and send me one? it's okay to cry, you wouldn't be human if you didn't! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: i can fully sympathise with you with the panic attacks too, i have had the damn things for 15 years :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: ever since i hyperventilated in the car. they have changed symptoms 3 times for me, but they still strike out of the blue. haven't worked out what triggers them either. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: i had one yesterday, was typing at the computer the keyboard went blurry, then blackened out and then whammo i had my first panic attack in about 2 months and boy did it knock me around. sending hugs and prayers to you and little mimi. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: take care and know we're here for you both! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

thanks, she didn't say she was improving only the blood, but even thats a start :) sitting here a nervous wreck waiting for the phone to ring. she said if she wasn't much better we'd have to discuss :'( anyway, i'm beleiving that she'll be a bit better, been praying! :smitten: yeah, she's brilliant, been there all weekend looking after her :smitten: my poor baby and the nurse has fallen in love with her, giving her cuddles :smitten: panick attacks are awful i get a few i go completely out cold and feel so knocked about ah well!

try and do something to take your mind of the vet ringing! i suffer with panic attacks and i know how bad thay can get and how they can know you around! if you get sick you won't be able to take care of mimi! clean your other piggies, or have play time, go for a work, bash up a sibling do anything but relax and stay calm! sending hugs and prayers for you as you have me really worried! mimi is in great hands, now please take care of yourself! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
don't make me come over there with my rolling me! :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: seriously hun, don't make yourself sick, i know how you're feeling! take it easy and concentrate on your breathing. sending hugs and cuddles to you. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I've come up with this big rash due to stress i'm so stupid, i worry soooo much! xx0

HOOORAYYYYY! :D she's a bit less tender and there's no blood in her poo! :) but she still won't eat but is having CC and baby food through a syringe. she said she's not out of the woods yet, but we're going to collect her in an hour! :) i'm so happy :smitten:

That's brilliant Izzy! I'm so pleased! :smitten: It's a step in the right direction! :)

i am so happy for you! 2funny 2funny 2funny this is a happy dance not laughing at you! so glad little mimi is improving, did the vet say what was the matter with her? now you young lady take it easy, rest as mimi needs you, like i said don't make me come over there! :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: seriously though i know how easy it is to love these little guys, but now you have to be well to take care of mimi. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: give her a big gentle cuddle and kiss for me! :-* :-* :-* sending hugs and cuddles to you both and keep us posted on how she is doing and how you're doing too! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

thanks i'm gonna have a huge nap later! ::) ;D Mum's gonna do some of the caring this time, i'm letting her cos i can't keep doing it all the time, i'm exhausted as it is O0 well just picked her up and got a huge bill, but as long as it's getting her better i don't care!
she's had a drip, and injections of Dexadreson, Ceporex and Metoclopramide? i'm not sure what they are. we have to keep on with the CC and baby food but tempt her with food. she had a tiny tiny bit of spinach so thats good. we have to give her fibreplex 3 times a day and put her back on the baytril from tonight, i'm concerned about that cos i thought thats what made her have soft poos? :-\
anyway i've had a long cuddle and a cry and she seems very poorly still, she's shedding lots of hair :-\ we have to go back on wednesday so we'll see how she goes :) just lovely to have her home. :)

ahhh Izzy I am so glad you little girl is home where she should be take care all of you.

:smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

she still hasn't weed but had some hay and just gave her CC i've had a nice looooong nap! ::)

we've just given her some baby food. O0 she did some squidgy poo and a tiny squirt of wee and squealed when she did both :-\
she seems fairly sleepy. poor old pansy's missing her. she seems a bit flat and when i got the others out for floor time she was wheeking her head of at them and pushing her nose through the bars :'(
