Billie's paw

Just closing this threat with the last update ... in case anyone has similar problems and wants to read through the whole story.

The last months didn't bring much change. The paw slowling got worse again but Billie wasn't bothered much. The arthrosis in the hind legs were a bigger problem.
She was on high levels of pain medication and baytril until the end. The paw started to bleed from time to time but there were longer intervalls without bleeding.
I kept the whole group on fleece and used Flammazine or Bepanthen cream once a day.

I am so sorry to read this. Billie was such a fighter and would have known how hard you tried too. She will leave a piggy shaped hole in your life but will always have a special place in your heart. Sending hugs at this sad time
