All Jigsaw Puzzlers out there post your puzzles!

That looks like a nice and much easier one to put together!

It absolutely was. It was also helpful that Huadada print letters (A, B, C, D) so I know which quadrant the pieces are supposed to be in...and which way up they go.

They're nice jigsaws but the pieces are thin, not really up to repeated builds.

Hilariously, this one turned up with a duplicate piece lol. Makes a change from a piece being missing!

This is my puzzle it had a duplicate piece too! I wondered where the extra piece went! 🤔

Port Isaac. Some of you may know it as Port Wenn from the Doc Martin series on TV.

I remember looking at it and thinking crap, it doesn't fit in the B section, have I put something in the wrong way round?! Except with those jigsaws that's kinda impossible, didn't stop the slight panic lol.

I thought that too! It was a duplicate piece of wall and I thought I was going mad! Until I finished the puzzle and had to double check I had all the pieces in place....

I actually thought I maybe just had an erroneous piece from a different puzzle entirely that fell into the wrong box somehow, took me a while to find its twin. Foliage, right? :))

I thought my big Noah's Ark jigsaw (another rescue auction buy) was going to keep me busy for the whole bank holiday weekend because of all the little texts and details that meant I could only work in short spurts due to my bad eyesight, the frequent change of glasses and high concentration needed but while the initial sorting into smaller batches took all of Thursday, once the rim and all the many fishes were done by Friday, the rest went quite a lot quicker and easier than expected - despite me needing locate most pieces on the blueprint picture, which is not the crispest when it comes to all the tiny comments all over the place. But I really needed some additional decent daylight for that; it's not a good winter jigsaw that I can get away with just artificial light.

It is however a lovely and lovingly designed picture if you enjoy storytelling jigsaws with lots of amusing details, including regular exercise for all the animals, a mini-rainforest, beehives, where to stash the less welcome passengers like gnats or snakes, how to process the resulting waste (including a methane vent) etc. The outer rim pieces did come in a separate bag; probably by the previous owner.

The puzzle itself is nice. I put off dealing with it for a few years when I first saw the box because I thought it was just normal sized pieces and with that level of detail I figured I'd rather not. Then I read the dimensions on the box the other day and realised my mistake.

XL pieces were so much better. Unfortunately the reference image on the box is still miniscule and they don't provide any sort of insert in the box to help.

Edit : :))

These were a pair titled Caravan Outings from Gibsons, but they weren't photographing well. I should've tried upstairs before bringing them down lol, the light's awful in comparison down here.

Honestly these two were a fluke. Some of them will have a letter (or two or four depending on their position in the image) printed on the back which is a massive help, and 500 pieces means fewer to confuse with each other too. That ans maybe too much time on my hands now I've no PC lol.

The one I was going to do next is going to have to wait for a bit because I know I'd have it finished in 24 hours and I wanted something that'd take longer after the past couple of days. So instead I'm doing an awkward one. Easy doesn't always mean fun, right?
