All Jigsaw Puzzlers out there post your puzzles!

Honestly these two were a fluke. Some of them will have a letter (or two or four depending on their position in the image) printed on the back which is a massive help, and 500 pieces means fewer to confuse with each other too. That ans maybe too much time on my hands now I've no PC lol.

The one I was going to do next is going to have to wait for a bit because I know I'd have it finished in 24 hours and I wanted something that'd take longer after the past couple of days. So instead I'm doing an awkward one. Easy doesn't always mean fun, right?
I'm also amazed that you get through your puzzles so quickly, you must spends ages on them, not to mention the cost of them all!

I went with one of a horse that has maybe 3 colours in 1000 pieces. Slight regret now I've got to start the edges  but I did this to myself. I like the challenge.

That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.

Good luck! You'll get there. Doing just the easy ones gets boring unless you start playing against the clock.

They actually help with my anxiety, as a distraction but a distraction I can focus on if that makes sense.

As for money, yup, some are new. Many are donated (@YvonneBlue has given me some lovely ones, plus my neighbour who has given me the same jigsaw on two occasions...twice, lol). Then sales - I just got two 500 piece jigsaws for £3.75 each, along with two 1000 piece jigsaws for £4.25 each. £16 total for four. The trick is to find an image you'd want to create.

And now I have decent windows and can do these things with good light I no longer have to share my desk with a computer. But I do them for fun, I try not to race through them. The only bit I struggle with is getting them started. I hate that part, it takes me almost as long as the actual puzzle does.

The easy ones will still be there for next time, right?

The only challenge I'm currently setting myself is to complete a 1000 piece and then two 500s, so three per cardboard sheet.

Same here - the sorting is the most tedious bit. I prefer an easier jigsaw for when I am stewing over something but I find them rather soothing, too. Only that I can no longer work at them for longer stretches these days.

I find if I start and I'm getting nowhere, now I can just swivel the chair round to vape and watch TV. Some jigsaws really irritate me, things not going where they look like they should, or I keep dropping pieces or whatever. I can look at it again when I calm down.

Unrelated but I've just had a Welsh ad on the TV. As in it's in Welsh. I've seen the same as in English so I know what it is but this is the third time I've had the Welsh one. 🤨

I have anxiety and understand about having an absorbing distraction. It's great that you've found something that helps. You seem to have some good sources for low/ no price puzzles, which is great because they can be expensive as I know from buying them for my mum, and she only does 300 piece ones.

Yeah, I know. I mean I can appreciate the quality of some brands but the price is hard to ignore.

Just back from a visit to one of my daughter's. Last time I was there I spotted a pretty puzzle in a charity shop. Lots of green in it, grass and trees. As I came home by train I left it there, it came in very useful on this trip due to the wet weather. It was a case of history repeating itself and quite moving as I often did a puzzle with my mum who always had one on the go. My only regret is I didn't have my camera with me to record us making it. We've bought another one ready for next time I'm there!

Looking good. As I can’t stand or sit for too long it’s taking a lot of time. But that’s ok. I’ll get there eventually 😄

It's not a race unless you turn it into one; it is the process that gives you the pleasure and the ultimate achievement with moment of pride at the end of it.

I can also only work in shorter sessions these days, compared to when I was younger and enjoyed some quality time with my dad on Saturday afternoons when he was doing his weekly jigsaw (he had a cupboard full of them) and was at his most relaxed.

This one is a about making sure you're registered to vote and that you have ID for it. I've seen the English version too but I've seen it once. I'm up to around 6 times for the Welsh one.

Lorcan what is the make/name of your Friesan one? And was it yours that was the chestnut horse on a hill? I love jigsaws but with big dogs careering round the house find it impossible to keep them safe long enough to finish them. Did try those roll up mats but they made it even easier to whip off the table! However I'm determined to get one and finish it and I really liked those two pictures.

The chestnut horse (From A Higher Level) was by Anatolian, and the friesian (Trotting horse) was by Educa.

I love them both but something on a non-slip background would be much better, the Educa in particular has loose fit pieces and I swore at it more than once because every knock to the board has pieces bouncing around.

My puzzle is really challenging. It's of an Amsterdam Cafe with lots of cobblestones, lots of flowers, brickwork and foliage! I knew it would be hard but I just loved the picture. You'll have to wait until I've finished it to see it.

I'm taking a break at the moment, there's so much gardening to do. It's forecast for rain all day tomorrow though and I've got 4 500 piece ones waiting in the wings so I could get tempted!
