Dental Wonky molar, last resorts?

I’m not sure how you’ve calculated it to be around £4200 per year, to get treatment from Simon. Even if your piggy needed to go 26 times per year, it wouldn’t cost anything like that amount and hopefully, in time, he’ll go longer between appointments. As you’ve seen no improvement so far, have a chat with Simon about why this may be. Here at TEAS we have a piggy who only goes two weeks between dentals, as her teeth are absolutely awful, but she eats well and completely for herself, as long as she gets that quick tidy up of her teeth. I’m concerned that your guinea pig isn’t yet showing any sign of improvement. Is he on pain relief?

I don’t think anyone was lecturing you, just giving you information on what you asked about. And as we’ve said, we ALL saw it.

I know you’re stressed with what’s going on. Hopefully you’re able to talk to Simon today. It’s worrying when your baby doesn’t seem to be improving. I’m sure you’ll make the right decision for him 💕

@furryfriends (TEAS)
So far each visit has cost me about £85, the petrol came to nearly £12 each way and wear and tear on the car was a rough estimate based on usual payment of 45p per mile, it's about 100 miles, missed some bits somewhere I can't remember my exact calculations and numbers, but actually comes out at around £5000 per year if I have to take him every 2 weeks with just those numbers. I forgot to do both directions for the wear and tear.

At present Bandit is on 0.25 loxicom twice a day as per Simons instructions, he was on a tiny amount of baby teething gel (bonjela) but I cut that as it seemed to be upsetting his stomach and making him refuse even syringe feeds. I may have to put him on that again as he seems very uncomfortable again right now and starting to take less and less food, so I need to find a balance.

Simon wasn't in on Saturday so waiting for his call this morning.

Let us know how it goes with the call. Is Bandit still the same, worse or a slight improvement?

Had the call, going in to see him Wednesday so he can have a proper look as he needs to see really to give me a good answer then we'll go from there.

Bandit is declining as he alway does after the two week mark, I'm struggling to get food into him this morning he's so resistant, given him a bit of food and his pain meds and waiting for them to work before igo try again with food.
That he's so uncomfortable is where my doubt is coming in. Had my vet do his upper incisors as I didn't want them to over grow, he had a look and said we were back to ulceration.
It's so frustrating.

Aw, I do feel for you, it makes it all the more harder because you can’t see what’s going on in there x
