awww my cousin has that in a little statue that someone got her when they got married - I always look at it when I go round and think how lovely it is... Both of them, entwined together, forever... ahhhh romance... ain't it grand! ;)

On another forum, someone had a nice idea for a little chest to use instead of a ring cushion:

So I stole that idea and bought a nice little oldish looking chest on Ebay this morning:

just need to make a nice little cushion to fill the chest out with now, and were sorted :)

I just think that this suits a medieval themed wedding alot better than a plain cushion.
 
Where did you find that dress?! I know you've probably said but its absolutely amazing. I also met my fiance on the internet nearly 6 years ago - and can't believe there are a few on here who have met their OH's on the internet - we usually get funny looks when we say how we met. Personally though I think you find out more about a person by chatting/writing instead of looking first, I would never have met him if it wasn't for the internet anyway as he lived 2 hours away from me.

We're also going medieval - getting married at Amberley Castle next October.

Loved the chest idea :)
 
Wow it all sounds so fab!

I have been engaged to my boyf for six years and we still have set a date ha ha ha ha ;D
 
It seems so weird, a pet dies, and your whole world seems to suddendly stop... and then you realise, that the world continues turning and whether you want it or not, your life has to go on. :(

Same goes for wedding related stuff.. I have to continue planning and preparing stuff, and everything in me doesnt want to do things that are happy and that I should look forward to :/

He didnt want anything fancy, but this was the plainest I would allow lol! ::)

I'm going to take pictures of him wearing it as soon as we got the thing - will probably take another half week, seeing how slow parcels seem to go from Germany to the UK...

Now my sister loves Hayley, and when I told her that this is the song I am planning on playing, she got all excited -

and the best thing: She offered to sing it! that would be wonderful, she got a really nice voice, and it would put a personal touch to the song :) She did say though that she might not feel so brave anymore when it comes closer to the wedding, and that I should have the CD handy in case, lol! ;)
 
awwww that sounds a lovely song and its really nice of your sister to offer to sing it... I have sang in the past infront a lot of people - it was just over 200 at one point. Tell your sister not to actually look at anyone in the room when she starts singing - I found a spot at the back of the hall and concentrated on that until I felt comfortable up there singing....

Would be lovely if she could do it for you.. x

I tend more towards number 2 and 3... Number 2 because it has so much knot detail, which I love, and Number 3 because it has stones...

What do you guys think?
 
I would choose number 3 with number 1 a close second but they're all beautiful.

It all sounds great-good luck! I met my boyfriend on the internet 18 months ago and we have been living together since Feb. The internet is a great thing! :)
 
I ordered number three now :)

We have also booked "The Foolish Virgins" - a Ceilidh Band :)

So thats going to be great fun!

Me and Stu are getting married on 26 May 2007 so if you want to plan together and share ideas (although we both have completely different wedding ideas) let me know heheh

Id love to hear about your wedding! How did you meet each other? What have you planned already? Traditional white wedding or themed?

Oh WOW! thats a beautiful dress.

I would love to get married all over again and do everything different 2nd time round. Got suckered into trying to please other people rather than ourselves. :-\

My father & I are doing up a property at the moment and are thinking about getting a wedding license. Kind of alternative wedding venue. Its a water mill on a mile of river, completely private. We are looking into different styles of wedding & civil partnerships etc & offering accommodation (as well as camping - did say alternative didn't I?). Its quite funny because neither dad or I have ever been married so we're clueless! I may have to pick those who have been or are getting married brains in the future.

I'm not getting married (looks the exact opposite at the moment) because my married name would be Hilly Rhodes!
