I was at my parents and my dad was chopping up some celery. I asked if I could take a stick home for the boys. A week later dad asked if I wanted some more celery for them. I said no thanks they ran away from it. He thought that was hilarious

It took some convincing to get him to eat lettuce (it's now food) and spring greens (which is also now food, but I thought that one was a losing battle for some time).

I still have some cucumber, spring greens, kale, lettuce and maybe some herbs here as well as the celery but he'd eat the good stuff now and then flip his lid entirely when he only has the "bad" stuff for two days. Not helped by the fact Bann eats it, and eats it in front of him, which drives him mad

I don't feed it often, tbh I don't buy it often. Mourne loves the silks, but there were none with this bunch I only give the stalks a couple of times a fortnight.

I don’t bother to cut the stringy bits out- but the boys get the inner stalks & I eat the outer ones. I only buy it once a month maybe. I think if my memory serves me correctly, the stalks are ok, but the leaves are high in calcium!
