Thanks. George is about 11 months old and Boris is about 8 months. Boris is a replacement as when puberty kicked in Tim spent all his time trying to attack George, even though the bars. We got him adopted to be a husboar and we're very lucky to be able to adopt Boris very quickly and he and George are very chilled together.IMG_20230619_191918.webp

Thank you everyone, I forgot to introduce properly. Tim is the tricolour. Now living his best post neuter life with a harem. George is the black and white and Boris is the beige satin.
 
Boys went for mani pedi today, behaved beautifully 😇. Vet nurse had a good look at Boris and agreed he is satin. She is going to find out if there are any preventative supplements for satin syndrome .

My sister in law stayed last night. She arrived thinking "aren't they just big hamsters". She is the guinea pig whisperer! They both enjoyed relaxed lap time with her. Both boys behaved beautifully. No bottle rattling, pooping out of the side of the cage, rumble and shrieking sessions..... They only wheeked when it was cute and appropriate 😇. She is in love with them and as she does a lot of crafting, I am to expect a lot of piggy themed gifts.
She has invited us all to stay with her for a few days. Won't she have a shock when she realises that they were on best behaviour .😂
 
IMG20231119002026.webpIMG-20231111-WA0001.webp George likes lap time, he will stretch out, curl up and have a nap. Since Boris has decided that he likes shared lap time George has been very tolerant. Boris is a fidget, he causes a few outraged squeaks when he comes over and tramples George before deciding to settle. When he gets off, it seems like George is grateful. He stretches himself out and, maybe I'm being too anthropomorphic, starts talking to me. It sounds so much like he is complaining about Boris! He doesn't want to get off me because I know his cues for that. 😂🥰
 
We keep the boys carrier on the floor with a comfy blanket in so they can sit in in when they want. Recently I have been having to keep opening the door. When I was watching Boris on one of his adventures a few days ago, I saw him push the door shut. Of course, being a well trained slave, I opened it as I know they like a nap in there. Boris watched me then closed it again. A few minutes later George ambled over looked at the closed door and wondered off.
Later Boris went back over , used his foot to open the door went in and ( not sure how) pulled the door shut! 😮
Both hubby and I have watch this happen several times now. It does appear that Boris wants to keep George out. I think it is his sanctuary as it started when George was having a particularly rumbley/ humpy day. Sometimes they are so c!ever......
