Swollen testicles after neauter

Update
So Cookie seems to be improving without surgery but I’m assessing daily.
However Inky has now developed an abscess🙈 it’s only a small one according to the vets.
He’s totally normal in himself.
He’s being drained and prescribed 0.4ml of baytril for two weeks as she said she “likes to hit hard with antibiotics”
I’ll have no Xmas money left😂

You are doing a great job with your piggies - abscesses are nasty.

However once they are opened and drained you need to keep the hole open and continue flushing until the pus stops forming.
This can often take a week or two.

A twice daily flush and clean is really essential, otherwise the pus starts building up inside again and the situation keeps getting worse.

Your vet should show you how to do this, and also tell you what to flush with and give you some small syringes (no needle) to use.
It is messy, but is really the best way to avoid surgery.
Just cleaning it out once and giving antibiotics is not enough.

If your vet has not told you to keep the hole open and flush I would have to question how experienced they are with guinea pigs.
You have not added your location to your profile, but if you did maybe we can recommend an experienced guinea pig vet in your area?
