Like we all know, Joe is hyper-sensitive and that ofc includes his belly. Too much vegs, critical care, metacam... His vet told me to try Famotidine and that works. I crush one, mix it with 2ml of water and give him 0.2ml twice a day when he has a "crooked fart" (direct translated from Swedish, very good expression 😅). I think the poo soop is more natural for a pig but...
 
Hi guys,

Mom thinks the poo soup is kicking in. The volume of my poo is still a little small but I did a massive, well formed pile in the corner of my cage.

She's gonna do things a little different today. She's going to clean out Chez's cage first instead of mine so she can collect a fresh poo, then clean my cage and give me my meds and poo soup.

There were just so many more poops than usual!

Mom texted her nephew about how breeders kinda abuse guinea pigs and usually he doesn't respond to her boring texts but that caught his eye and he responded.

I just did a little popcorn. A week and three days no ear infection!
 
Slave woke us up at 6am to give me meds and some critical care. I was just a bit grumpy and after 8ml I angry-ate hay. Why on earth this early? The hooman-world is not normal. Its very dark outside at 6am and that means night. Sleep. Eat a bit. Sleep again. Maybe move a house. But not syringe-time!
Kongo was happy because he got his breakfast-cucumber early and was jumping around. I dont know what universe he comes from. Not mine!

Totally relate, Joe, our slave has come in as early as 5:30 and we were just like wtf.

Chez is zooming, I did a little zoom, and Chez is making a mess of a bundle of apple sticks that came apart.

She's going to spot clean Chez first so she can cull some poo for my soup.

No work today, but an appointment.

Sounds like Kongo and Chez are two pees in a pod. Just make a mess and be happy!
 
I'm thinking of getting Stripe a c & c with two fleece.

He's currently in a cage with bedding and I just spend so much on bedding.

Of course I'd have to invest in another drying rack which is another 30 dollars

So we're looking at $278

Maybe when I get my tax refund.

Dear survivors,

slave has realized something these last weeks. Vet was so excited to see Joe because "he's such a big Guinea pig" according to the scale. This was before he lost a bit after this very long rehab and he still was around 1300g.

Today Joe came over to say hello and we got some parsley. We ate together. I was so happy as you can see, I had to tell slave and she took this picture of us together. And now she really can see. I'm not big, I'm not far or obesity. I'm (the f-word) HUGE! Just look at this picture. Joe still counts as a big normal/slightly overweight dude.

I dont know how to survive this fact really. Kongo is not even on the piggy-map. Its so unfair because I'm so handsome!

And as you can see, Joe is much more tidy than me. Joe leaves his playhay in the playbox. I like a mess. Yesterday I was dragging my poor cuddle-bunny around the cage. If slave would rename me she would call me Peter Pan.

Joe? Small steps forward everyday. The scale is slowly going upwards! He shared some critical care in syringe with me yesterday. I'd get five and made happy-seizures (popcorn) between every syringe.

Just like the slaves was thinking, my tooth is the enemy again. This time I do not have an URI or anything else. For now, no antibiotics! That makes us take a deep breath of relief, last time I got a bad reaction and it was so much drama around me.

Slaves got their hands on a bag of Alfalfa-hay. Its so soft and I can eat a little of it by myself. On Thursday they will fix my golden tooth. Well, I was so fun and charming last time I was wasted...

I might have said couple of days. But this rehab wasnt that easy. A couple of weeks later;

Slave was sleeping at work Saturday to Sunday and I was left with male-slave. Slave thinks I might got so fed up being left in his care I just started to function like a normal Joe again. Because Ive been so bad to male-slave, I played hard to get in the cage and just refused to swallow the critical care. I gave him ninja-kicks!
So, when slave got home yesterday she met the normal Joe. I have three hay-spots i ny cage and yesterday and today Ive practically been running between them. I eat and eat and I jump and I look so healthy!

Last weekend slave took me of metacam, and in a couple of days my tummy was very high functional again. Very. I'm so proud of myself. I also get a lower dose of the gabapentin, from 0,7 twice a day I'm now on 0.4 twice a day. I'm on a roll here! I'm very much a survivor.

Slave keeps giving me critical care a couple of days, she says. She wants me to gain a bit more, and I get so hungry for hay after every feeding.

Kongo is also doing good. He is so happy because slave has really been spoiling us these weeks and bought us so much tasty food to get my appetite up again. Kongos appetite is bigger then ever. Slave doesn't even want to put him on the scale...

Today is my first day without critical care. Slave is a bit shaky and feels like she has forgotten something all the time. She's so used to abuse me with those syringes. One month guys! One little sharp tooth. How much drama can I cause?
Well, the gabapentin is now down to 0,3 twice a day. On Valentines its my 5th birthday! Kongo is baking me a cake in the shape of a tooth, he says. A sharp molar. He is so funny!
 
Hi Survivors

I'm on eye drops this week for some cloudiness. I take them like a champ. How come Chez never gets anything?

My poop is perfect in every way after poo soup. I'm getting a little pepper, this is my third day. It was a little bigger today.

I'm just loving my new hide, it has a cushion inside. So comfortable.

Oh Stripe, it's so great you are nice and comfy in your lovely hide🏡 Chez might be annoying after times (squeaking diva piggy) but he does create good poo soup. Enjoy your veggies 🫑🥬
 
Stripe, in Sweden we call it "olyckskorp" ("bad luck raven"). Your poor slave must be exhausted! Ears, crooked farts, eyes... Hope you get well soon! So happy Chez could help you make some tasty soup.
 
It's 7am. I just had my eye drops and metacam. But that's not stopping me from popcorning when she topped off the hay.

My poo is great, tomorrow I get pepper and a piece of lettuce. I had pepper just now.

She says my buns are cute. Should I call animal rights activists?
