Back from an expedition over the Mersey to see Molly at Rutland House.
Phoebe has been sulking in a hay pile since we got home but shot out to grab veggies this afternoon.
It was a very positive visit.
There is still tenderness around the eye and the infection isn’t fully cleared so we have another 6 weeks of Zithromax and Metacam before I go back to my own vets.
This will either clear it or we will need to decide whether or not to remove the eye and see what is going on behind.
I’m happy with where we are. Phoebe will not be happy with ongoing medication.
Her tummy seems to have settled, she’s eating well, refusing any syringe feeding, maintaining her weight and helping herself to poops from Micah if she needs
She’s happy enough and I will keep a watchful eye on her.
I’m so pleased that things are settled and there’s no immediate need to do anything for Phoebe. I have everything crossed that the extended course will cure the problem for her x
