Poor Patsy, that must have been incredibly painful. Hopefully she will start to feel better now.xx
Thanks Yvonne that's what I'm hoping too. She hardly says a thing so when she squeaked I knew something was up!Poor Patsy, that must have been incredibly painful. Hopefully she will start to feel better now.xx

Poor girl, I hope this is the start of her feeling better. Can’t imagine how much that must of hurt!

WOW! That's massive! Poor Patsy...hopefully passing this will give her some relief now. This is probably the reason why Patsy was losing weight and generally feeling bad![]()

She passed this massive stone a couple of hours ago while I was syringe feeding her accompanied by a rather painful SQUEAK!
She is now fast asleep in the hutch. Poor Patsy will feel a lot more comfortable with that out of her bladder.
That's what I'm thinking. I am giving her extra syringe fulls of water to help her flush out any sludge. She has a bit of dried bladder sludge on her bits.Oh poor girl that looks huge, hope anything left is just sludge and she can flush it through more easily now that massive moon rock shifted! I wonder if you should increase the metacam for a couple of days for her, she must be feeling a bit sore x
Rachel put her on 2.5ml Metacam twice a day. I have given her 0.4ml tonight and will do so twice a day for the next few days.I’d up the Metacam Jackie, it’s anti inflammatory so should take any smelling down too
I know. I couldn't believe the size of it. No wonder she's been losing weight. She doesn't really want her syringe feed atm so I am having trouble getting it into her. She took it quite happily up to a few days ago when the stone obviously was moving down. She must be in agony so she doesn't want to eat. I am managing to get about 10ml down her every few hours. She is still eating stuff and eating her eaty poops. She will take syringes of water which I am happy to give her as it will help flush out this nasty UTI and any bladder sludge.Oh my goodness. That. Must. Have. Hurt. Really hurt. No wonder she looked swollen and was wet and stinky.
sending her all good vibes. Onwards, Patsy.
So glad to see all those lovely poopy poops! What a brave girl she is, I really hope she's turned a corner now and will start brightening up and plumping up xWe have poops! Lots of poops! Not very painful poops either! Just a little wriggle of her bum and legs - nothing like yesterday.

These were produced in around the 20 mins it took me to get 12ml of syringe feed into Patsy and 6ml of water. I have found the easiest way to syringe feed Patsy atm is to sit her on my lap with her back facing my tummy and holding her gently but firmly with my left hand around her tum. It means my left hand gets covered in syringe feed but as long as she eats it I don't really care.
Patsy ran off when I tried to pick her up too. First time she's done that in about 5 days so she must be beginning to feel a little bit better. I put her back in the hutch where she was chomping happily on the fresh pile of hay I'd put in there for overnight snacking.
You're not the only one! She is literally skin and bone now. It's costing a fortune all this syringe food and vets visits but as long as I get her well again that's all that matters! She hasn't given up on life so I won't give up on her. It took her 9 weeks to lose 200g so I'm not expecting an overnight miracle. It'll take her a while to regain the weight I know that.So glad to see all those lovely poopy poops! What a brave girl she is, I really hope she's turned a corner now and will start brightening up and plumping up x
That’s how I syringe feed too, get their bum into your tummy, it stops them squirming xWe have poops! Lots of poops! Not very painful poops either! Just a little wriggle of her bum and legs - nothing like yesterday.

Yes please Heather as long as you're sure you don't need it.I have an unopened pack of recovery food from the vet for Phoebe but didn’t need.
Would you like it?
That's what I think too. That stone may have been stopping her pooping, so good it’s out now, she must have been in so much pain poor little lady x
