Patsy has sore feet.

Ouchies! Poor thing! Don’t blame yourself though, we all know piggies are the masters of hiding things! ❤️

Poor Patsy, hope her little feet start to improve soon. Don't blame yourself, we all know how good piggies are at hiding their illnesses.xx

Vet (Rachel) said that she's not too worried about the feet as we are in the early stages of treatment and that a bit of skin peeling is to be expected. She also said to carry on with the F10 barrier cream once the feet are dry after treatment. She wants to see Patsy in a week's time.

Hope that’s helped to put your mind at ease a bit. You’re doing an amazing job! Hopefully we will see some improvement by her next appointment 😊

Yes it has. I do worry about my piggies. Patsy especially, as I don't know anything about her until I adopted her apart from her (very) approximate age, that she'd had 2 homes before coming to live with me and that her name was Pattie but it didn't suit her so I changed it to Patsy.

I much prefer Patsy for her name too. Glad you're feeling a little better. The boys and I are sending lots of love for Patsy.

Oh Patsy..that must have hurt. Get well soon little beauty. Your mummy is doing everything she can for you. ❤❤❤

That looks beautiful. Hope Patsy’s feet look better soon. Please don’t best yourself up @Betsy. I don’t inspect everyone’s feet regularly.

Patsy has just come back from seeing Rachel the Vet as a follow-up to last week. Rachel is happy with Patsy's feet and now thinks that the scabs aren't scabs but foot spurs. Rachel said that Patsy had probably had Bumblefoot before and because of the stress of losing Christian and bonding her with Betsy, the Bumblefoot had reared it's ugly head again. Patsy is very happy that the last dose of YUKKY Baytril is tonight and that the YUMMY Metacam will carry on for at least a week longer until all the redness has gone from her feet. She is also pleased that the foot spas in the Piggy Pedi Paradise Parlour will continue as she likes those especially the Special Spa food (SS Recovery Plus). Rachel said that Patsy will probably need foot spas at least once a week or fortnight for the rest of her life to keep the Bumblefoot at bay.

Good girl Patsy 😍 I’m glad it’s improving.

Brilliant news! I’m so happy for you both that she is improving and the yucky Baytril can stop. Ahh I miss Spa time with Odin! He used to really enjoy it.
So happy that it’s positive news for Patsy 🥰🥰🥰

That’s great news, glad she is on the mend!
And now shes has her new shag carpet and regular spa visits lucky girl!

Great news Patsy, looks like you will continue to be pampered for a little while longer x

Awww! Cute little guinea feetsies! I'm glad she's improving. 😊

Sent pictures of Patsy's feet to Rachel this morning and she was pleased how much better they are now looking. Patsy is very happy that she can have Metacam for another 7 days and her lovely warm foot spas are going to continue as well. She also says she is going to save lots of Poops of Protest especially for when her Hooman dries her off and will probably wee all over her Hooman too just for extra fun!

Patsy has just started to run and hide from me when I tell her it's foot spa time. This has happened over the last couple of days. I'm very happy about this as she now is clearly feeling settled enough here after 5 months to tell me what she wants and that clearly isn't being picked up!
