Our piggies

The boys have been enjoying tag team zoomies- a quick nose touch through the bars and one does a few laps, then the other goes. 🩷
I hope Loki is alright, hope the vets goes well!
I am sending him my love :luv: ❤️

Loki was a cheeky pig at his vet appointment & rumbled at every chance. He showed he was not impressed with the vet putting him through piggy yoga moves, and apparently resisted having his teeth checked.

The vet thinks Loki may be having trouble absorbing the nutrients he needs from his food. She used a fancy word that I can’t remember & said his guts feel a bit doughy.
We are to try pro & pre biotic, poo soup and vitamin C.
The vet also thinks his past history & previously having had scurvy may be part of the problem.

Loki has decided fibreplex is extremely scary, enough to reverse away from.
Pro-C in a cucumber sandwich is an acceptable snack & after a little bowl training- a little recovery food in a bowl is no longer a scary snack.

Destroying hay cookies is the new exciting thing to do!

We opened the first door on the advent calendar, piggies are not impressed. They wanted to know why the carrot wasn’t real! 🥕
Same here but they did get a treat inside! Beetroot hay cookie! 😋

@sam1 this is our hooman advent calendar!
Our piggies are spoilt most days & don’t get an advent calendar.
Please don’t let them know it’s possible to get extra treats daily in December, or they will never stop begging. 😂

Hope your gang are enjoying the treats from their calendar. 😀

:)):)):)).
Yes I agree with that!
They are totally enjoying it thank you.😃

Well, Wally surprised me today, he made a hay nest. This is most unusual for him- he usually just prefers to flatten everything.

I can’t decide if I should worry about his change in behaviour or congratulate him on discovering the joys of hay nesting. 🤣
