Our piggies

The eau de boar is strong here!
We held our nerves listening to the visitor's having a ding dong argument last night, goodness knows what set them off. Wally joins in the noise and all 4 join in the stink!
All was calm when we went to bed. A certain piggy was free of boar glue in his long fur.
This morning(apart from the stink!) all is calm, and somepig had a massive blob of boar glue under his chin, safe to say he doesn't like me, I just chopped it out.
I have scattered some flower forage in the hope it sweetens the smell, in the room! 🤞🏼

First attempt at a proper guinea pig haircut.
Round one to Basil.
I got karate kicked so many times we are taking a break. Perhaps a 2 day break!

Round 2

Slightly easier haircut session , but I believe that Basil still won round 2!
I had to stop when Basil started eating the grass that had hair on it. He has a lot more fur than I realised.

Piggy home, spring clean time. Otherwise known as destruction day!

So far I have discovered:
2& half fossilised poos
A lot of hidden hay
1 scurrying spider
1 dead spider
A lost chopping board
(holding a corner up!)
A couple of old magazines

2 disgruntled piggies in a temporary home on the floor, wondering why I didn’t pick a warmer day. I have received Hamish's telepathic message & given him a heat pad!
Hamish is hidden in hay, Wally is currently wandering around wondering what’s going on and looking for Hamish.

Well done. You will feel a great sense of satisfaction after all your hard work, even if the piggies are not happy.
I’m glad you’re in tune with Hamish’s need for a heat pad though, after all it isn’t summer yet !

( Meteorological summer doesn’t begin until tomorrow! )

So, did you have a nice weekend?….

Everyone else, “Yes it was lovely, saw friends, cooked nice meals. Had a sunny walk”

Me- “ I stood around waiting for Wally to do a fresh poo, so Hamish could have poo soup!”

Monday sure is going to be interesting!

I cleaned up a mountain of old poo, fed Wally some grass- waited- and he has just put himself back to bed, try again later.
:coat:

If only I was still in Milton Keynes...
Master Boris would supply plenty and Sir George one or two enormous ones for me to pop over to you ...
Thank you for the thought-Wally usually is a poo machine. I am clearly not asking/looking at the right time. Fibreplex now- poo soup later. Hamish definitely prefers the fibreplex.
