Not Having Much Luck, 2 Poorly Piggies Over Christmas

So its been a while since I updated here, mainly because not much has really been going on. Bramble is still going nicely, and ive still heard nothing back from pets at home.
I now have the email address for the top dude, so thats my next move if customer services dont reply to my email today. Ive got more than enough ink and paper to resend my original complaint every week for months to come if they really feel like ignoring me...

I have found a lovely German group on facebook that deals with E.cuniculi so I am learning a lot more about it. I'm happy this means that I can give Bramble a better quality of life where necessary. I am very saddened though in learning that digestive issues with no pain, no dental cause, no cause at all really..is also a symptom of EC. I cant help but think of Blackberry and how at the end, her incisors angled the same and Brambles, how the other vet we saw said is was likely the same as what was causing Brambles teeth to do it but at the time we werent sure what that was.

If only id given her a precautionary treatment of panacur she might still be here. She showed no other signs of EC but its looking likely thats what killed her. I'm so frustrated with myself :( I feel like ive let her down all over again.

I am still being ignored by them. Maybe they think I will drop this if they ignore me long enough.. theyre very much mistaken!

So, oddly enough we just had the mail come.. ive recieved a cheque refunding my vets fees in full. No letter, no apology..I guess thats something. Please complain if you buy sick animals from these people, hit them in the wallet. Hopefully eventually things will change.

I have read all your incredible story. Now you have got the refund and I think you are even lucky! Here you might get something back only if you write to newspapers and the shop starts having big troubles as you hit them in the wallet...
Things will never change, though, especially if people go on complaining only in a "polite" way. In Rome a big shop closed after someone made a video of the horrible cages with ill kittens and posted it on Youtube and then on fb a battle started. That shop is a big chain, they have a lot of shops, therefore things will not change, but that chain has to close its main location and I don't see so many customers into other branches.
Why don't you send a letter+ pictures of the bills to local newspapers talking of your bad experience?
And I hope that you will at least tell everyone at the supermarket, at the vets clinic, at work, into the bus about such "shop" .
I must say that here in Rome all the shops which used to sell products+pets are now selling only products, because there were so many controversies (online, on TV, on nespapers) that they are trying to be appealing writing on their leaflets "we don't sell pets because we are pet friendly". A strategy of marketing, but it is working and in the last 2-3 years I am noticing a different situation...
this below is the famous video which made a mess (TV, newspapers, people... there was a media blitz and the big shop had to close. The kitten in the video died)

Poor kitten :(
I must admit yesterday I was very, very angry about being ignored and made contact with the RSPCA. They will be looking into it and I am in the process of submitting all pictures, videos and a detailed account of what happened.

Once that has been done I just may go to the media, depending on the result of the RSPCA getting involved. I was very deflated this morning getting the refund..it was over but nothing had changed. Then I got a response from the RSPCA and now its being investigated I feel much better. Its never been about the money, id pay it all again to have them both healthy and happy..
