Aww it was really sad :( (and from a mum's point of view quite upsetting) ronnie & kat had their babies (both boys) on the same day (xmas) kat got rushed in to hospital on boxing day as she was suffering from bad blood loss whilst she was in the hospital Ronnie had fallen asleep for a while and woke up to discover that James had died (cot death) she heard Kats baby crying and went over to the pub snook in through the cellar entrance and found him on his own (charlie the grandad was supposed to be watching him) swamped with grief she swapped the babies (without knowing what she was doing).
When she got home she realised what she'd done and went to swap them back but her husband arrived home and then she heard kat scream (as she'd discharged herself from hospital) and it finished there.
I know a lot of people have slammed the storyline as being insensitive and not nice at this time of year (but when would it ever be a nice storyline), it's a touchy subject but personally I do not believe that it will cause a spate of distraught mums stealing babies like some newspapers have said.
I thought about an old friend who's baby sadly passed away at 2/3 months old through cot death 6 yrs ago, whilst watching e/e and thought about how she must have felt, it so so sad.

awwww i missed that, i saw ronnie have her baby and that was it. Really. I must make more effort to watch Easyenders (was that intended MrsM?)

erm, no....rolleyes... wish we had a drunken smilie on the side! a lot of us could use it to explain some wierd things! :))

My best friend in High School lost her brother at 4 months thru cot death and one of our neighbours their daughter... it's so sad and it's ALWAYS on my mind with my baby...
