We are having steak dinner and few drinks, all of my friends are getting ready to go on a big night out and I am feeling slightly envious!

We've been going to some friends' of late but they've just moved to the Highlands, so travelling is a bit tricky and we feel self- conscious imposing a completely different routine with Oliver.... I'll try to stay awake until 11pm, call my parents in France where it'll be 12am and then colapse in a heap... hehehe:))

But I quite fancy going out now!

We are staying in tonight. Hubby is not too well.
I really feel in the mood for a good drink though and feel like going out.
i guess I'll stay in and get hammered Frank Gallagher style (see avatar pic lol) in the comfort of my own home lol! :(|) x

If you were nearer we could party together!

We are staying at home and getting drunk. I am on the winter Pimms already.

Well, unfortunately I shall be sat in front of the tv,as recently underwent major surgery and can't walk far and feel pretty rotten. So with Xmas being cancelled all in all it's been rubbish, however hubby just made dinner and watching the box set of the west wing which is brilliant. Had plenty invites but couldn't find a dress that matches my surgical stockings and sensible shoes :)). Also the reason why I've been absent for quite some time.

Happy new year everyone. :)p

Spending it on my own :0 don't really want to but have little choice as the friend I was going to spend it with is in intensive care thanks to swine flu this is despite having had the flu jab.

i am sitting here on here and fb eating crisps and drinking tea :)) OH is sitting beside me playing on COD mallethead

feeling rubbish as i've developed a cold over the course of the day, oh well :)

Snap I'm sat on here whilst looking at the local job vacancies with a (half eaten) box of milk tray and a cuppa with that elizabeth film on.
My oldest's upstairs on fb and my youngest is fast asleep, I must be boring company cos even the dogs have gone to sleep.

i'll swap you some chocs for some salt and vinegar sticks? the piggies are shouting away for food as they can hear the bag rustling and the bunny is demolishing a box. the hamster is asleep lol

Don't really like crisps and I've already eaten all of the nice chocs, only the nougat, toffee, honey, praline etc left lol.
I have to eat them before tomorrow as that's when the diet starts lol well that's what I keep telling myself.
There's another layer left aswell rolleyes I not going to eat them honest

i like toffee and praline lol :) can the children not eat them?

Noooooooo it's milk tray:x children can't have milk tray as it says in the advert 'all because the lady loves milk tray' lol.
No seriously they've got loads, my mum bought them a huge box of thortons continental chocs, the oldest has munched through hers but she's like a dyson and the youngest just picks at her food as she's often poorly so sometimes chocolate makes her worse.
I'll just have to resist as I really really want to try and diet properly this time and not give up after a week I just need to find where I left my will power and get it up and running again.

I'm sat here with my daughter reading through some posts and catching up on the gossip on fb, she's eating maltesers, I've got some chocolate money and a very feative (lol) glass of cranberry juice. Happy New year every-one. xx

I'm making a nice little meal for OH and I and there'll only be the 2 of us with the TV and a bottle or two!

With Oliver being so young and the family being so far away, it's difficult to organise anything....

ended up cooking a five- course meal, all with things we had in, so didn't spend a penny on it.... it was all very nice, finished eating at 11.30pm... fell asleep at 11.45, woken up by OH at 11.55, then made it to bed at 2.40am! Woke up at 6.45 with awful indigestion, feeling really tired but with a over-excited child.... took him down, turned Ceebeebies on, then snoozed half- comatose on the settee whilst bambino was watching TV for about 1h30... Thanks BBC!

it was, honest. It's our own fault for going to bed so late.... For once, baby didn't wake in the night!

please explain what's happened in Easyenders.... watched last night and was dumbfounded re: babies storyline

I don't watch it,but I did read the storyline in the paper.I think one baby dies of a cot death amd the mother somehow swaps the baby with another one.

I kinda got that, but the details were a little fuzzy what with missing the last 2 1/2 years! lol
