What are people's plans for New Year?
We don't generally bother much,can't do with the crowds and the expense.We are going to the pictures to see The Tourist with Jonny Depp in (Love him).Thought it would be better than sat in front of the TV,which is rubbish Then we are going over to my mum's to see the New Year in with her and her partner.

oh i hate nye, so depressing, and no matter what i do everyone else always seems to be having a better time! Anyway, this year oh will be in bed by 7 as he is in work for 5am!

Maybe ill walk my dogs to my mum n dads and drink with them!

Hubby & me are off to London for the night! To brave the crowds and see the fireworks! :))

I am so looking forward too it. Will be nice to be there and not watchin them on tv.
 
I've never really celebrated much and I'm not a fan of fireworks, so am planning a night in with some movies and maybe a friend or 2 :)).

Think I may pop down my local. One of my friends is coming up to stay so we're going to do alot of sorting out and resolution making for the new year! @)-c

I'm so not a party creature these days:))

Am staying in with latest Shrek on DVD and a bottle of wine:)

Been invited to a party but wont be going - always so much hassle getting a taxi then its triple rates.

Cant eat or drink much on my diet and will be ready for bed at 12.01am:))
 
Me and OH and a few friends are going up our local workerman's club which is throwing a little NYE party. Went last year and it was quite nice, not too crowded, music, drink, quite cheap etc. Should be alright. :) My mates invited me down to Bournemouth to go clubbing for NYE but I have a theory that if you're not with your OH/one you love at new years then you wont stay with them that year.. (I'm paranoid!) And it's always nice to be with them anyway so.. yeah.
 
I was going to go out and eat with my friends but only a few of them can go now so we've decided to rearrange it for another time, so I'm going to sit at home, with the rabbits I'm looking after and watch a film with them :)) I really hope there aren't many fireworks round here, I don't like them at all! The guinea-pigs are fine in their shed, but the cat hides under the table and I'm looking after 2 rabbits, I don't know how they'll be with the fireworks. I think I'll just turn the volume on the tv up when the fireworks start :)
 
I'm going out with the OH family, he's at work so to spend time with him his family have agreed to go to the bar were he works for NYE :) That was nice of them.
 
Were going out for lunch with my hubby, parents and grandparents. Then hubby and I will just be spending the evening together us and the pets. Might pop down the road and see my mom in time for midnight!
 
I am going over to a TGPF Friends' party. To spend it with them and their piggies! YEY! I can't wait!

It's gunna be the first party I have been to since an incident happened to my father while getting ready for a party, that was like 7 years ago now.

Which one? I think New Year is a bit over rated so we are going to have a delicious meal and maybe a few drinks in our local before bringing in the bells at home with the beasts!
 
Just off to the next door neighbours for a few drinks :) Was out clubbing Wednesday night, (went to see Example at Oceana) and my bank balance/head still hasn't recovered haha, so having a quiet one!
OH is going out with his friends and one of their girlfriends but I wasn't invited rolleyes Never mind....he'd embarrass me with his dancing if we went clubbing together haha!
 
Chinese take out first, then a rock and roll jive party tonight, then home before midnight to see in the new year with hubby and my son:)) (daughter is out tonight at another party!)
 
We've always gone out in the past but this year we're staying in and I've invited my parents over so I'm cooking them a meal. Making a roasted red pepper and tomato soup for starter with some homemade bread rolls, beef bourginon for dinner and I've cheated with desert and bought one in :x
 
I'm stopping in with my 2 girls, have done for the past 3 yrs but I'm usually ill on NYE with a chest infection but I don't have one this year lol.
My b/f is a DJ so it's his busiest time of year (December through to the end of Jan).
So me and my oldest will eat the rest of the chocs (we have too, my diet starts tomorrow lol) and watch rubbish tv, I'll probably fall asleep on the sofa and wake up a few hours later with a sore neck whislt she has the music channel on.
My youngest will be in bed and asleep by 7pm so all in all a pretty boring night but I'll make up for it in 2 weeks time when it's my b/f 30th birthday.

omg horrible day, i have started with a cold and feel pants and just come home from work early to go to bed and instead had a massive bust up with my boyfriend....its not looking too good.

ha ha and ill probably be single...whoops!

But yes i agree, I'm still happy as i have my two doggies curled up next to me and my other two babies are in the corner in their new cage where i can see them x)x)

With Oliver being so young and the family being so far away, it's difficult to organise anything....
