My Guinea Pig Sundae Is Not Moving Her Back Legs Any More What Is Wrong

Sadly it is not as simple as that in the US, not all vets will see a guinea pig.

Please be aware that there are not as many vets in the US, that distances are much greater, vet cost much higher and that the only small animal specialist may be on the other side of a state larger than the whole of Britain. The same goes for our Australian members. We are very privileged in the UK, with also having charity vet clinics, lots of vets and regular out-of-hours coverage!

I understand that, hence why I have my location shown :) I was using my mobile at the time though however, and it doesn't show up on the mobile browser, for example all I see on yours is 'Wiebke' 'Staff Member'.


Anyway, I hope this piggy gets the treatment she needs soon and makes a swift recovery :)
 
Well sundaes fur has grown back and is doing better again and she is happy with her new cage as well but i am just happy her fur has grown back but we didnt find out wat was wrong all we firgured out that it was a fungal infection we think it mit have been ring worm but i am just glad she is doing a lot better
 
ik n since i moved into my grandparents place she has rly come out of her shell n luvs playin wit my grandmas small dogs to n she luvs running around on my bedroom floor n it is sooo cute watching her.
 
I'm so glad she's doing well! That's great news!
 
now she has ear mites cam from my grandmas dogs n now I'm sure how to get rid of them is there anything i can buy from petco or petsmart use for her or would i have to take her to the vet again
 
Well i noticed a lump on sundaes back leg and i know most people won't be with me when i say this but i don't think i can do anything for this time. Because ik she is getting old she is at least 7 years of age and her eyes are starting to fog up now she isnt as active as she used to be a year ago and ik her time is coming soon idk when though all ik is that i gave her a very happy n full life and i took very good care of her she even knows that. so i am not going to be doing anything about her lump cuz i dont have the money to get it removed and if it is cancerous i wont have the money to make her well again so rite now I'm trying to make the most comfortable she can be rite now n spoiling the crap out of her n playing wit every single time in my room i just hope that I'm doing the rite thing cuz ik theres nto much i rly can do for her now at this point.
