It'll be a few more weeks until he can move in as I've got to sort out heating, lighting, hiding places etc. But I'm so excited to finally treat him right.

I actually never measured how long he is I'll have to dig out the tape measure tomorrow. You also just reminded me I was supposed to weigh him while I had him out today but I got too excited and distracted :doh: weigh ins for everyone tomorrow!
 
I remember this beautiful boy! What an amazing viv. He clearly lives a charmed life. I love it.

It still looks a bit bare. Sadly with covid restrictions travelling to the nearest city to buy posh sticks is not really aloud and I don't want to buy them online because you can't see exactly what you're getting.

Spirit is adorable.... I love him! Snakes are such cool animals.
 
He found the warm hide and he's decided to stay there forever. I give him all that space and he's just curled up in one little box. I know it'll take time for him to get used to his surroundings but I can't help but be a little disappointed that he's not more appreciative of all my hard work. Hopefully I'll be able to get some nice hollow logs and branches in the next few months which will give him more to hide in and behind so he'll feel safer coming out.

That’s like me and Elsie the King Tiger Pleco in my fish tank! Had her almost a year and it’s very rare to see her, just see her destruction in the mornings as she’s nocturnal! Gorgeous when I do get a sighting though the tease! :)):love: (Bigger than that now too, just no decent pics to prove it!)

Spot the snake?

He hides in the shadows he is stealth he is always watching never revealing his whereabouts. He overheard us laughing about how he is a pampered worm, that he can't catch a dead mouse and would never survive in the wild so now he is trying extra hard to be a scary hunter boy.
 
When we had baby snakes they loved hiding in them plastic plants!

Can confirm that good snek bois need the best sticks 👍

Snakes shed every few months but it's rare to catch them in the act. He usually does this when I'm asleep so it's the first time I've seen him do it.
