Mavis 1st Vet visit. Horrible lump on her side

Yippppeee! And Mavis looks like she is healing brilliantly too. She's a tough one your Mavis 🙂 so happy for all of you!

Aaaw, poor Mavis.....hope the vets say everything is okay for her, or if not can do something to help her wound heal better. Mavis did have some pretty impressive "embroidery" though, so might be why the wound looks like it does.
Sorry to hear that Mrs Dougal is under the weather.....our piggies do keep us on our toes sometimes. Hope both her and Mavis are in good health again soon. x

Could be me course thinking wrong
See what vets come back with
Plus Mrs Dougal not great she’s a tad under weather.
Daves a piggie worry guy now
Ouch. I hope the vet can help.

Oh dear. Perhaps she has been biting at it. Is she still on metacam? I know when Donald had his abscess removed he kept scratching it open and I had to give a slightly higher dose of metacam twice a day to keep him more comfortable while it healed

Sorry if this offends
Stitches out and wound is infected
She’s having to be knocked out for a big clean all crap and puss
Mavis squeaky like hell when vet tried to clean and look so best option to put her under. Can’t re stich for some reason but by then I was too upset to fully listern.
I hope Mavis forgives me xx
Then gona be meds galore to stop any infection and painkiller to help her
Sadly this is not covered under the original cost and piggie bank again attacked.
