Thank you my lovely........................very sweet of you to say those things.......................I will continue to look after her the best I can. As long as her life has quality then that's all we can hope for. She just needs to put on some more weight - she is a happy piggy and so loveable.

If you come to the UK you can certainly kidnap me - I am more than willing to come over to Australia - I would love it - ha ha hubby and son may complain though.

;D ;D ;D

Fingers crossed for her Helen, shes a lovely little girl. :smitten:

my fingers are crossed too Helen, really do hope she gets into tip top health :smitten:

how is the little girl today? sending hugs and prayers and good vibes your way and hoping she gets better and she can go to a new home. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: you do a wonderful job! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

She is doing ok - she has been shouting at me for her veggies so I feel she is in a happy place right now. Her prognosis is not good - she has very deformed teeth which in time will grow in all the wrong directions - that's when its gonna get tricky - BUT in the meantime am keeping her on her favourite spring greens and cucumber, brocolli and kale.

Her guinea nuts I mush with warm water and she loves them. She has put on a few grams so I am pleased with that. We have lots of cuddles and she constantly licks my chin - dunno why!! ;D

I can also confirm if I haven't before - that she will live out whatever time she has here with me. It may be months but could be years depending on what happens with those dreadful back teeth.

Lots of love and thanks for enquiring about her. Will put pics of her on tomorrow for you.

helen.

Glad she is doing ok Helen. Maybe the teeth will just have to be kept quite short at the back with regular trips. She sounds like she is doing well so thats great! :smitten:

Helen could you find a vet for her that doesnt need to use anaesthetic to do teeth? i know Glynis's Duke has to have toth trims regulary to stop them over growing and he manages to eat ok but needs a bit of help sometimes x

that would be great - I must look into it. the prob is her teeth are growing outwards into her cheeks and gums - I haven't seen it of course - but from what he says they are in a dreadful state. I will look into that though and see what I can sort out.

I'm glad she's gaining weight and is happy and that she is staying with you, i bet it would have been hard for you to get her rehomed now anyway after nursing her so long and so well x

hoping you find a vet who doesn't use an anaesthetic to do teeth. glad she is happy and yelling at you and telling you to hurry up with the grub :smitten: :smitten: :-* :-* what are guinea nuts? and i am not talking about a male piggy! 2funny 2funny 2funny mine get pellets but what are these nuts everyone is talking about? sending the sweet girl hugs and cuddles and hoping she has a long happy life. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: petal and rosie 0:) 0:) 0:) used to love licking me too, think it was to get the salt, they wouldn't touch their salt block but they got their salt from me. hugs and cuddles to you both and good luck in your search for a vet :smitten: :smitten:

She is lucky to have such a fab guinea mum as you Helen! Her teeth sound terrible :( poor little thing x

Hels

If you get in touch with the CCT they should be able to give you a list of people who do guinea teeth without anaesthetic. I have a piggie here with a very deformed jaw and he has regular dentals done like this. Its so clever the way they do it! Hopefully there will be someone not too far from you that can get her toothies more comfy for her.
