Just when I thought this year couldn’t get any worse.. ringworm?

He really is handsome - I’m so pleased he’s doing so well and popcorning about. It is a good sign that the patch is getting smaller and his fur is growing back ! Well Banner and you ! 🥰

I must've been so lucky, as we have had a number of piggies arrive here with ringworm, plus Tootie took ringworm to a whole new level and I've never got it myself. I am amazed that none of Tootie's friends caught it either, as they are the most cuddly and snuggly, with each other, piggies!

It doesn’t look too bad to be honest. So I’m hoping easy to treat 🤞🏻
I keep checking the other pigs and the dog for signs, but nothing so far. I hope it stays that way
 
Banner update:

the vets called to confirm ringworm (I thought as much after I caught it), so we are moving him onto itrafungol. I need to go collect it tomorrow.

he’s otherwise very well in himself

mine appears to be clearing up with antifungol cream and shivering with Nixoral shampoo. Fingers firmly crossed, the other piggies aren’t showing any signs of it either 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
 
Ahhh that’s great you know for sure ! Hopefully all the other piggies are ringworm free and Banner just shared it with you bless him 🥰 treatment is very effective so you both will be free of it very soon 😀
