Is she ill?

People like me will trust them blindly
I’m going to report them😡

Because that’s what she’s used to. And there are probably sweet things in there. Stop feeding it now. Did you buy it from a shop? If possible go back and see if they have a plain pellet that has grass as the main ingredient - timothy, meadow, oat. Make sure there is no Lucerne in it though.

I'm afraid that’s not suitable either - it contains wheat which piggies shouldnt really have but of most concern is the fact it contains milk and milk products. Guinea pigs cannot process milk products and they should never be fed any food containing milk

they should be fed a plain pellet which contains grass as it’s main ingredient.
it’s hard if you can’t get the right products in your country though.

just ensure you feed your guinea pigs large piles of hay every single day and that it is available to them constantly.
give 50 grams of vegetables every day - lettuce, cucumber, coriander and bell pepper are suitable to be fed every day and contain vitamin c which is essential for for guinea pigs. Apple should not be fed often and cabbage should also be kept limited

I can’t help with which products you can get in India. This isn’t something I have any knowledge of.

read the guide I linked in my previous post - ensure your piggies eat lots of hay (they need to eat more hay than anything else), and provide them with a good range of vegetables including vegetables rich in vitamin c. I would stop feeding those dry foods in your pictures though but you are going to have to make sure they eat lots of hay instead and have a better selection of vegetables every day

See. People are rating this stuff
And this is the reason i buy this pallet

the ingredient list shows it’s not suitable

guinea pig can eat oranges?

no, they are too acidic and can lead to a mouth infection

guinea pigs shouldnt be given fruit really. A small piece of apple once or twice a month as a treat is fine but they should not have fruit regularly at all

I feed my guinea pig 3 time
Breakfast
Lunch
And dinner
Some slices of cucumber
One leave of Cabbage
Green pepper
Coriander
Spinach

But if we give them cucumber in Winnter
They can caught cold🤔
Please can you make a chart for me
What to give in winter.

You can feed the following to each piggy per day. I would not feed it over more than two meals.

So every day one piggy can have:
  • A slice of cucumber
  • A slice of bell pepper
  • A lettuce leaf
  • 1-2 sprigs of coriander
If you decide to feed twice then you would need to cut the cucumber slice into two - just an example. Giving cucumber in winter won’t make them colds. They don’t catch colds, only upper respiratory infections.

It’s not a good idea to feed a leaf of cabbage daily. It can cause gas/bloating. And spinach should only be one leaf no more than once a week.

How cold does it get in winter?

:agr:

guinea pigs don’t get colds, they get bacterial respiratory infections which require antibiotic treatment, but they certainly don’t get infections from eating cucumber.

I give my piggies veg once per day (they get lettuce, cucumber, bell pepper and coriander every day. Sometimes I add in some other veggies if I have them in my fridge), at all other times during the day and night they have hay to eat and I top up their hay four times a day. This is their diet year round. in the summer they are put out on the grass in their run to play every day so they eat lots of grass as well during the summer months.
