Is she ill?

Weigh her now if you can so that you’ve got something to compare her weight to when you weigh her again tomorrow. If you only weigh her tomorrow, then you can’t compare until the following day and then you’re losing time to step in with syringe feeding if she needs it

It’s 2am
Everyone is sleeping
Don’t want to disturb everyone
Tomorrow I’ll check her weight and let you know

Do it in the morning. And then every morning after that.

So she has lost 30 grams in 5 days. While that may be the difference between a full/empty bladder, if she is having a continual downward trend in her weight, then you must step in and syringe feed her to prevent further weight loss And to keep her gut functioning properly. Weigh her every 24 hours and if she has lost weight again, then she definitely isn’t eating enough, is likely feeling unwell and needs help from a vet.

you need to syringe feed her often enough to stabilise her weight - the guides below explain what to do. Syringe feeding is an emergency measure while you wait to see your vet, but a poorly piggy needs to see a vet

I give her food and she eats all of it.. i think she’s missing her friend.

As we have said, eating hay is the most important food And you can’t judge she is eating enough unless you weigh Her again. If she has lost weight then she isn’t eating enough hay. Eating veg and pellets is not enough.

She could well be lonely and need a new friend, and that may be why she seems unwell, but you must have her seen by a vet first to rule out medical issues before assuming it’s because she is lonely

I give her cucumber cabbage apple hay palets and the packet food which contains nutritions

I brought another piggie but she’s not accepting her i put them in separate cage. Whenever new piggie come to her she bites her

Hay is the most important! She shouldn’t be having apple and cabbage too often. Remember to weigh her again tomorrow morning to see how she is.

Did you just put the new piggy in with her? If yes then you can’t do that. You need to put them together somewhere they both have not been. Then the cage they go in has to be cleaned really well, bedding changed and everything moved round.

as mentioned, hay is the most important thing she can eat and the thing she needs to eat most of.

Vegetables are only a snack and should only be given 50 grams of veg per day.
Apple should only be given as a very occasional treat and she should not have apple more than once per week

do you give her any vitamin c rich vegetables such as bell pepper? They need these every day.
pellets should only be one tablespoon per day as they are not healthy

I brought another piggie but she’s not accepting her i put them in separate cage. Whenever new piggie come to her she bites her

this is always going to be a risk if you just go out and buy another piggy. They need to like each other to be able to form a relationship and if they don’t like each other and she is biting her, then they can never live in the same cage

Yes i give her hay everyday

yes that’s good, but hay is the most important part of the diet. If your piggy is still losing weight then she isn’t eating enough hay (eating vegetables doesn’t mean anything if she isn’t eating enough hay) you then need to step in and syringe feed her to keep her alive and see a vet.

In my city the vet don’t know how to check a guniea pig they check dog or cat
They don’t know what treatment is required for guniea pig🤷🏻‍♀️

I give this
Can you take a photo of the back where the ingredients are? That doesn’t look suitable with the coloured bits.

In your case I would make sure to give them (lots and lots of) hay, bell pepper, coriander, lettuce (not iceberg) and cucumber. I’d cut out that fees completely because it’s just not suitable

You can Google it and find the ingredients

i managed to find the ingredients online - it contains peanuts and flax seeds - unsuitable for piggies

My first guniea pig died
She was suffering from pneumonia
I go to vet
He use injection
After putting injection
My piggie was breathing though her mouth
The dr. Said she will be fine just give her this drop
I reached home and going to give her medicine
But she was no more
This is the reason I’m not taking my second piggie to vet

if you won’t take your piggy to a vet, then there is nothing we can do to help you if she is ill. If she is ill and she doesn’t get treatment, then we can’t say she will survive
