Sorry I havent been on in a while so busy with college, work and honey, thanks for asking shes not looking too good I dont really understand what is now wrong with her, I'm booking an appointment at the vets Dunno if they are open on bank holiday but will try for tomorrow. Her breathing is back to normal and I have continued the syrigne feeding when I picked her up this morning she felt a bit floppy but she she ate and drank what I syringed to her.

I know you all probably think its my fault and that I should have gone back to the vets quicker but she made such a huge inprovement, with her breathing back to normal and me helping her to eat seemed to help her, and she looked almost like herself again (Apart from her weight and eye is still a bit gooy). Her breathing is still fine but its like suddenly her engergy level has dropped and she doesnt seem as interested in anything, shes more floppy, I havent she her feed her self today or yesturday. :'( :'( :'(

I dont know when I will next have the chance to come on here but will let you know how it all goes, hopfully its not too late for honey. :'(

Dont give up on her, tell the vet you want to try septrin, she is your responsibility so if you want a drug used they should use it. It sounds like she still has a URI keep syringe feeding her and please get her septrin, dont pts until you have tried it x

No it's not your fault. I've been there too. I would maybe try another antibiotic as Emma suggested also get teeth checked and also supplement vit c if she is not getting enough. I can't stress enough how important the vit c is. I was relatively new to pigs when Cuzzy became ill and didn't supplement him although I was syringe feeding him and offering foods all the time the night before he died I realised what was happening it was too late.

Teeth need to be checked because they can grow so quickly. Syringe feeding keeps them going but if they aren't chewing as they should then problems can arise.

Good luck, and hope she improves soon!

as emma and louise have said ring your vet they should have an emergency number there and take her to the vets asap. ask for another antibiotic and get a pro biotic to protect her tummy O0 keep up the syringe feeding, and the water and keep her warm. don't give up on her and it is NOT your fault O0 sending hugs and healing vibes and really hoping honey improves :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
