yeah so true but i always wanted to be a vet so my mum trusted me to do what i said so as i said yes she believed me as i really thought i did give it water :-\ He was really old too but i think it was casue i didntgive him water that day :'(

Sorry, ILA, why are you getting a rabbit when you don't like them? I don't understand?

I'm not being horrible, just confused?

What a shame you rhomed your aother rabbits to be childrens pets when they really aren't suitable as childrens pets - and then they ended up suffering for it. I do hope you take more care rehoming these ones. To be honest I would think they are better off going to a rescue centre.

The thing is ILA, if you're getting animals just because you are beginning of hoard them ?

Cause like i have already said in this thread i will give them vaccinations from the vet and rehome them O0 I am gettign them off my cousin who is badly treating them as he wants to breed them when they are skinny, only babies and malnourished :-\ THATS WHY
If i can help these 4 then i can as my cousin is only 10 and i think he forgets to feed them and there cage stinks as it is dirty :P
He hasnt had them long and one has died already as he had 7 :o 2 are somewhere else as he wants them to breed :(

ok I'm going to stop reading this thread its making me upset and angry how the hell you can forget to give an animal water is beyond me >:(

OMG, I am not going to continue reading this thread either, you had rabbits only a year ago and you at one time or another forgot to give a rabbit water and it died. There is some thing really a miss here I just dont have the words :'( one minute you are taking all the piggies you can get with out a home check, or breeding them with out telling people on here what you are truly doing and the next you are considering taking in bunnies and then rehoming them mmmmmmm I seriously doubt it. :-X

I very rarely make comments about people but after nearly a year of reading posts on this and other forums made by you I am shocked by the flippant comments you make. :'( :'( :'(

Sorry but WOOAHHH...there are lots of people on this forum that would love to rescue, but cant because their tax is paying for you to mess around with the lives of animals.

Its not fair >:(

they are great family pets ?

Yes, but rabbits are not really ideal for young children.

I just get so confused here ?

can i just say that your cousins parents should take the rabbits to a rescue, they are adults and are not setting a very good example to him :tickedoff:
so try telling them that the rabbits should be taken to a rescue, rescues know far more information about rabbits than you clearly do and they can home check

You said yourself that they are now dead because they were not cared for properly ? Rabbits are NOT suitable for children to look after. They shoudl not be carried by children and they require careful feeding and handling plus regular vet trips etc etc.

His mum has died :'( my auntie and he has had a tough time so he got 7 rabbits now only 4 :) He is struggling to keep them so i have offered to take them on :) whats wrong with that ? yes i dont really like rabbits much but that doesnt mean I'm gonna treat them bad or anything ?

yes if i cant find a loving home for them they will go to a rescue but i think rescues have enough to deal with other peoples rabits and more urgent rabbits needing more attention than a rabbit who i can give a loving home to that i will home check :)

But you always say your mum wont drive you...

Rescues will vet check, innoculate, neuter and homecheck...

What will you do...give them away to die?

well the person responsible for him therefore responsible for his pets should get them rehomed if they are being treated badly like you say
