I'm on my way home after some retail therapy; I'm looking forward to us putting our respective feet/paws up with a biscuit/hay cake and joining in the fun :nod:
 
I'm so sorry guys, I won't be able to join in after all :( but I do hope that my donation will help TEA's :)

I have come down with an awful cold and still have three 10 hour nightshifts before breaking up on Christmas Eve morning:( (I've already done two)

I'm feeling really poorly so will have to get my head down for a couple of hours and hope I feel a little better before work tonight :(

Thank you to each and every one of you! We really hope you enjoyed your tea party and had lots of fun and laughter. You have certainly helped improve the lives of our 'extra special' residents and on their behalf we say a very big thank you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas x
 
That's an amazing amount of money! As I have no idea about the value of money in the UK, is it possible to give an idea of what that means to the piggies? For example 5 trips to the vets or 10 bags of hay, etc :)

Thank you! You're all amazing! It's been a very emotional year for TEAS. It started very badly, with the loss of a number of piggies and then we had the excitement of gaining registered charity status, and just lately we have had another very bad spell. Sometimes it is hard to remember all the good that comes out of what we do, when we are going through a bad patch. I guess it is important to remember that most of the piggies in our care have very delicate health anyway, but it doesn't stop you loving each and every one of them, and breaking your heart each time one passes x

We only raise enough to pay for the vet bills so food, hay, bedding etc are either paid for by myself and Emma or donated by very kind and lovely people. Therefore what you have raised will pay for almost three dentals. This means such a lot to us x
