Oh poor you, what a day! Hopefully Pepper will get chomping once he is off the cc and maintain his weightSo the good news is his teeth look fine, she couldn’t feel any discomfort on his jaw, tummy, kidneys, bladder, so that means that we don’t know what it is. He would likely need a CT scan to see if it’s a tooth root issue but that would cost £1k and requires another GA which as this point in time not prepared to put him though. We are going to try tramadol and we need to wean him of the CC and see if he can maintain the weight on his own, he may never regain the weight as his is a bit older now.
It took us 4 hours to get home as the M1 was closed part the way, I’m drained
It’s from exotic direct £29 for premium cover for both boys, which is £2K a year per pig, excess was £65. I know a few people who have it and all have said they have had a good experience with it paying out. That’s great. Can I ask who your insurance company is and roughly how much your monthly payment is? I am wondering about insurance but don’t know anyone who has it
Many thanks. I will look into it, with 4 piggies you can’t half run up some vets bills! It’s from exotic direct £29 for premium cover for both boys, which is £2K a year per pig, excess was £65. I know a few people who have it and all have said they have had a good experience with it paying out.
Lovely to see his cute face and funky furdoWe have been reducing peppers syringe feeding and Emaprid this week, the past 2 days he has just had a bed time 10ml of CC, we are giving him extra nuggets not an excessive amount but more than a table spoon, today he weighed 1052g! I’m so pleased, I’m not expecting him to get above that after the conversation with Kim but as long as he can hold his weight above 1020g on his own I will be happy! View attachment 229777
