Eric is unwell 😣

Thank you all for your kind wishes. I feel at peace somewhat knowing I did what I could for him. Larry has seen him. He was very upset before Eric passed, running around and chattering his teeth. He seemed frightened to approach at first but soon went over to give Eric a sniff and say goodbye to his best friend. He's snacking on some hay now.

Why do we do this to ourselves eh? We're suckers for our piggies 😔
 
Ah Wheekallweek it’s the measure of love we have for our piggies. It is heart breaking but you know that Eric has lived his best life with Larry and all of you. You did everything you could. And that’s all we can do for our pets and loved ones. Look after yourself

I'm so sorry to hear your news. Having lost pigs after surgery I know just how heart-breaking it can be when they can't quite make it after all. But he must have been feeling so much easier after the stone was removed to be able to pee freely again. He knew he was safe at home with those who loved him x

He had a wonderful life a a peaceful death surrounded by your love.

I send you hugs at this sad time. You tried so very hard to help him and he would have known that but his little body just couldn't cope anymore. He will be his usual self now, popcorning around over the rainbow bridge. Take care of yourself and his bereaved friend as you grieve. He will be with you in your heart.
