Hello!
Today, I was cleaning out "the guinea pig room", and I was using my dustpan to sweep up hair.
I left the dustpan on the floor to grab a newly washed hidey from the laundry basket. I turned my back for one second turned back around to see one of my piggies nibbling on the handle of the brush.
I fill the room with so many safe wooden toys, but she chose the dustpan?
I immediately picked it up and realized that the handle was coated in a soft material and that it had accumulated quite a few other nibbles over time.
I am worried about my piggy. Right now, she is laying down on her favorite warm memory foam pad while eating hay and wheeking until I scratch her chin.
She seems okay right now, but I am very concerned about her health. I feel like a super bad piggy parent.
I have decided to purchase a wooden dustpan so that I feel safe with the occasional nibble.
Will she be okay?
Any advice is much appreciated.
