They are thinking in the trillions dollars of lawsuits in the future. Unless this is dealt with, it will be hard to move forward if not at all.

Things are getting more ridiculous by the minute here.
 
Week 6 complete! It's gone so fast... still lots to do on my to do list.

Government say we are over the peak. Haven't watched the updates this week really, it's been a tough slog of a week.

Lots of people desperate for lockdown to end now.I absolutely understand the financial worry and mental frustration but we need to be guided by scientific evidence as to when restrictions can be lifted and how quickly. If it all happens too fast we are in for a second wave and that will do further damage to the economy. I am self employed and desperate for this to be over but a second wave-as with many people,would be a disaster for me.

Totally agree. I feel sorry for self employed, especially those who have not even been self employed for even a year yet. Seems to be little help. There is a micro loan I see quite new out from the government.

Its after when I worry for self employed, cause I don't know who is going to want for example, tiling done when they are skint 🤔😔
 
I think I spoke about my grandad in here. He has coronavirus. He's losing his battle in hospital now after fighting strong with it. He's had a stroke and the hospital has said they doubt he will make it through today.

I'm fine, but sad, if I don't reply back, I'm just taking time out from everything to ge tmy head clear.

Thanks for all the concern and support over the last few weeks. Stay safe

Sad news all around.
Here in the states, one of retail giant J.C Crew just filed for bankruptcy amid coronavirus.
 
Thanks, had a little update, he's got fluid on lungs still and the nurses sound sure he isn't going to make it. They have said very little chance, but obviously they won't say no he won't. Unless something is terminal.

My mum and dad have been to see him to say we all love him. It didn't look like he knew they were there. But it's still so nice of the hospitsl to allow it. Bit worried about my mum and dad going into the ward where corona is though.

I am fine, obviously sad, but strong with this sort of thing. I go more numb than break to pieces.

Thankyou 🙂. I'm basicly waiting on a horrible phone call now. I think there's a very very small chance he will make it. But even if he does, he's still got corona virus. I don't know if that causes his stroke or not.😞
 
I’m very sorry to hear he’s not doing well @SkyPipDotBernie Lots of hugs for you, your mum and dad. It’s good that they were able to see him, even if he didn’t (obviously) know they were there. We’ll be here when you need us.
 
Thanks everyone. It's horrible, I feel like I'm waiting for that nerve racking call from the vets but on a bigger scale and I pretty much know the outcome. First time I heard my brother so upset, I feel guilty because I don't show it, but I am feeling it, but in a numb way.

Everyone shows their upset differently. Don’t feel guilty because you’re not ‘conforming’. Those who truly know you will know how you feel, and they’re the important ones. 🤞🏾
 
Just had an update from the hospital and then passed on to me. My grandad has defied all odds today, and has tried to get out of bed and walk, he sitting up talking. The guy has blood poisning, fluid on lungs, and had a stroke the other day. The nurses are in shock.

I know this could be that typical burst of energy before you give up. But I'm still preying 🤞
