COVID-19 Coronavirus

Thanks for all the support messages, means alot❤️👍

I have tried to like everyone's replies to say thanks. But I may have missed some

Really sorry for your loss. Be kind to yourself now as at some point the grief will hit. Reach out for help if you need it, these are terrible times and bereavement doesn't help

Got the call early this morning. My grandad passed peacefully with 2 nurses holding his hand.

I'm alright 👍
I’m sorry for yourself loss. Please do take care of yourself. Grief may not represent itself right now so be aware it may hit you later. All the best to tour family, your mum in particular. 💕

When you read on Facebook that someone in your village, (who is a part time front line worker) has tested positive for coronavirus. Not once but twice (a week apart as had retest so could potentially go back to work).. and is then boasting on Facebook about going for a walk wearing a facemask! His wife & kids have been out the house every day too!

Is it just me that is lost for words over this!?

Very selfish, they should be self isolating.

I've just had to stick someone on ignore on Facebook before I lose it entirely.

This person is not stupid. Way back at the start of this they were all for a lockdown and everything else. And now, suddenly, it's all overblown. Nobody's really getting infected. People are getting up in arms about incorrect data and they're tired of making themselves and their kids broke and bored just for the sake of "a small minority". Any vaccine will be untested and therefore dangerous and they have a right to refuse it, just like they have a right to religious gatherings in person because apparently that's the only way they matter. "We're not going to set ourselves on fire to keep you safe because you think that's what needs to happen." People need to go back to work because they need the money, it's all a political ploy to allow the government to invade our homes, ruin our businesses, give them reasons to imprison people for nothing, and basically just to allow massive government overreach over nothing.
(Yes, they're American.)

Then you've got the muppets in Platt Fields Park. "I don't believe there is a virus." "Well there is a virus but it's just the flu." "I don't trust this vaccine because Bill Gates is involved and he can't even sort out a virus on a computer, I can't trust him to sort out a virus with people."

...although I've gotta admit I'm still laughing at that last one.

After 9 weeks inside the house/garden, Mum has made it through the front gate today! We had a little walk to my friends house to post her birthday card. She only lives round the corner so were only out for 5 minutes. Didn't see anyone else about so she was safe.
