Specialist Cocoa Poorly Lip And Congested. Pls Help. Photos

Ok Kaths put on some correct things that happened at the vets etc.
My turn . . . I'm so proud that the piggie we have is so special and so strong.
She has a terminal illness that because its so not been documented or recorded the course of treatment is not the norm.
We Kath and i don't know so we with Kris who is her vet specialist and has gone above the normal service as a exotic vet to take Cocoa under her care.
When you see a vet or a person wish they could wipe away the evil this lady would.
We and Cocoa love her and always be in her debt.
so we going down the steroids route . . Cocoas size and age is prob allowed 2.5 pills a day but she's on now 1.
Cocoa was checked for any pain and not once did that brave piggie squeek in pain. She just got on with it. Amazing.
Her mates at home so love cocoa I think in my world of little time in piggie land I'm disgusted I waited so long to belong with them poop machines.

Your vet sounds amazing. Are they on the list of recommended vets? As none of us know when we might need them too. I realise this info. may be on this thread somewhere but it is now so long it is difficult to search through.
It just shows how love and support here is for both Cocoa and yourselves. You are the perfect piggy slaves.

Heidi &Chloe seem to enjoy grooming me & making sure I’m pretty... so I’m turning into a real diva piggy. Xx

Hi all. I know this thread is getting a bit long and to me not repetitive but to some prob is. But I want to share This.
This morning as normal we give Cocoa her medicine separate from the others on some cucumber and leaves.
She sits on the table with one of us hugging her as she now likes to hide under something as her escape has reduced cos of her legs so she feels out sight outa mind. (shes never far from my mind)
She was good her weight up 20gms which trust me is great as keeps her above the 1000.
Kath took over being nurse.
Me with Heidi help I cleaned the run of poo's etc. clean hay and make ready for Cocoa return.
Kath put her back and for 30 seconds or so she squeeked and generally looked for a spot to munch on hay and settle.
To hear and see that was. . well guys you know.

Thank you for asking. We're all doing ok now that the worry over Edwards lumps have gone. Ellen and Edward are going on their holiday for 3 weeks on Sunday whilst we go on ours. I'm going to miss them like mad but I know they'll be well looked after x

Oh Dave, you’ve just brought back memories of Heidi “helping” me do the tidy up - chasing the brush and tipping the pan of poops over . She’s such a Miss BusyBody. Lovely to hear Cocoa is still doing well and happy xx

Kath took photo this am.. we little sad as her weight iis down a little 980 but we keeping eye on her.
Cocoa is unaware of her weight drop and is eating ok.

Just caught up with a weeks worth on this thread. Dave you and Kath are doing an amazing job with Cocoa. She will let you know when it is time for her to live at the Rainbow Bridge. She's not ready to leave for that journey and adventure yet. My thoughts are with you, slaves and piggies! xx Have some hugs just cos you need them Wish I was closer then I could give you a cuddle in person. I know a virtual cuddle isn't the same but it's all I can offer you. xx
