Specialist Cocoa Poorly Lip And Congested. Pls Help. Photos

here's a couple better ones. Kath took. IMG-20180710-WA0009.webpIMG-20180710-WA0008.webpAfter a hour she was so tired she was strugglin to keep her head up. I'm not sayin she was very very ill just a hour cuddles and attention was enough.
Kath had Florence out and as she put her back she put the two piggies noses close Its 1st time they had met and they both squeaked and talked for a few beautiful moments.

We are. she's giving no sign of the cancer makin her worse. Course I'm wearing rose tinted glasses.
Next Wed be big test as we take her back to the now emotional specialist Kris who we have asked to be honest and tell us how our beatiful baby is.

Is Cocoa still able to move around? How are you avoiding urine scald? A couple of years ago I was of the opinion that once a guinea pig lost the use of their back legs and there was no improvement after a short time, that they should be euthanised. I felt that a prey animal, who couldn't move, would live in a constant state of anxiety. However, when Little Ben lost the use of his back legs, but was still able to move around and we were able to ensure he didn't suffer urine scald, I felt it was the right thing to let him continue to live his life. Every day I asked myself the question, 'does he have a life worth living?' I never looked further ahead and enjoyed the time I had with him.

Again thank you for your comments. She is pretty agile on her 2 front legs and still tricky to catch. We fully understand your and everyone concern and being new piggie owners especially one as poorly as Cocoa it's a new experiance for us.
We welcome any comments good or bad as we need help as we really sometimes struggle to know what is best for her.
Results of the Biopsy has been sent to me and our local vets who 1st treated Cocoa we more than wlling to share it as her problems are so rare. Pls if we email to you could you forward it to Simon. PM address pls.
As for urine scald none yet and her privates are clean she's pooping really well. we try to cuddle her twice a day and she is fully checked.
It's very anoying her legs as when she's on lap time you touch her side or bottom she pulls them up a fair bit.
In herself she's eating and gettin along with the other two. He mouth is horrible and gives us concern this disease is EVIL.
Cocoa is not a toy and her being alive is for her not us I promised her through tears she will not suffer or be in pain when we found out about the cancer and she's off to see the specilist tue eve. any sign of Cocoa struggling we have asked Kris to be honest and tell us just in case our love for this piggie is blinkered.
We know time is against us and trust me it's breaking our heart's knowin how poorly she is
as @VickiA said she or her friends don't know she's ill tho Heidi is giving her lots of licks and keeping her going. But we do.
Dave x

You and Kath are so good- you must feel as if your hearts are breaking every day.
I am sure, though, that you will know when it’s time to let Cocoa go - I don’t think your love for her will blinker you. You are too caring and loving for that.
Thank you. what I could spend more time with her. works a pain. xx
