Bladder stone.

Zoey made it through surgery. She is recovering at home. She ate all of her veggies at the vet right after waking up, but won't eat at home. I have her on a heat pad and am slowly feeding her critical care. The vet said if she can make it through the next 48 hours, she should be fine. Unfortunately, when they opened her up she had a super diseased reproductive system. Polycystic ovaries. Uterus was infected as well. She spayed her of course. She removed the stone and found a bladder mass. Her bladder was super inflamed and adhered to the bladder wall. The vet fixed all she could. I will be staying by her side the next 48 hours to make sure she is alive and fed. The very said if she makes it, we will work in a long term plan which will include stone prevention medication and piroxicam to address the bladder tumor. I hope she makes it guys. She looks so pitiful. I feel bad for her.

Sending healing vibes to Zoey. She had so much going on in there. Bless her. ❤️
Too much. More than her body can handle. She in bed next to me. Syringe feeding her every 2 hours. She is peeing and produced a few stools already, but won't eat on her own. She is warm and doped up on pain meds.

Sending massive healing vibes.
When my piggy Fred had surgery he took a few days to start eating properly for himself.
Sounds like the surgery was quiet lengthy for a piggy, so the aesthetic may take a while to leave her system fully.
Sending hugs.xx

Oh bless her, sending Zoey loads of healing vibes, poor little lady x
I’m sending you big hugs too, I know how awful it is for you too, hang in there you are doing a wonderful job, keep going with the critical care, your love and care will make all the difference

She made it through the night and seems more alert this morning. Still won't eat, but I can take care of that as long as she continues to process it. I added in metoclopramide last night to help her tummy move and soothe nausea she is probably having. Can't hurt.

Aw, good news, everything is going in the right direction, she’s been through a lot so will probably be off it for a few days 🤞Glad she is a little brighter though

I'm so scared, but each step she makes is a win in my book. I jist hope she keeps taking the critical care. I know if that stops, she's done.

Zoey couldn’t be in better hands than yours with all she’s been through.
It does take a while to recover from major surgery.
Holding you in my heart ♥️

Thank you! She took a nibble at cucumber this morning. Every once in a while she sniffs at the hay like she is going to eat it. Hopefully she will. She is still zoned out.

Not the update I was hoping to give, but u just got back from having Zoey put to sleep. She wouldn't eat. Did not poop. Developed horrible bloat last night. I could feel 3 enormous swollen intestines on one side. Her gut was rock hard. I tried everything. Sadly this morning it was even worse. She stopped taking food and water. I couldn't even give her meds today. It would just fall out of her mouth. She was no longer swallowing. I am gutted to say the least. No more surgery for my piggies. Very expensive lesson learned. Thank you everyone for your support.

I'm so sorry to read this.you gave her the best chance. Utterly devastating for you.I'm thinking of you and your family at this sad time.

I am so sorry that despite all your efforts and giving her a chance you had to say goodbye to Zoey.

I’m so very sorry to hear this. Zoey is now pain free munching the green grass over the bridge. Take care ❤️

So sorry.
You did everything possible for little Zoey.
Sometimes the call to the rainbow 🌈bridge is just to strong.x
Sending you massive hugs.
Sleep tight Zoey.xx
