Barrett had to have wet food 24 hours after his dental. Now every morning he taps my face until I give him a spoonful. I was going to donate that food to the animal shelter.

Barrett is stealing from rescue cats, I tell him.
 
Good luck and I hope it isn’t too bad - do you think he’s been in a fight ?

Barrett caught a mouse in the house last night! Didn't think he had it in him. I heard a crash and then he brought it to my room to finish it off. He then wanted to eat it but I stopped him.

Honestly, I don't want him to give me any kisses for at least a week. He usually rubs his cheeks on my face, but yuck. It's going to be hard to stop him.

Time to set some traps, they sometimes can in right before winter.

What a clever boy alerting you to mice! If you use a humane mouse trap (they do work I put peanut butter in mine) remember to take them at least 2 miles away from your house so they don't find their way back.

Thread 'A mousey problem'

A few weeks ago, I had to set a humane mouse trap in my garage as I had a little mousey visitor eating piggy forage. The visitor also had a go at the bird food in the Conservatory and I found a couple of piles of peanuts behind the cupboard. I found a couple of piles of dried carrot in my garage on the top behind the paint pots too as well as a bag of dried sunflower petals which had been chewed open at the bottom which was still in the cardboard box with the other forage. Hi everyone, it's the cat here. I woke up my slave early for wet food and no matter how much she yells and says bad words at me I get right in her face and tap her. In fact I'm in her face right now. I don't take hints very well and I'm addicted to wet food. That's why I demand it at dawn. Earlier and earlier each morning, sometimes in the middle of the night. Mom says bad words but she always forgives me when she gets up.

I'm so affectionate and gentle that she overlooks my faults.
 
Hi everyone, I decided to wake mom up at 5 am for wet food. We went to bed early, so I was full of energy.

She succeeded in yelling at me and swearing at me but then I decided to go in the bathroom and chew plastic, so she had to get up.

She closed the door and thought she could go back to bed. But I fiddled with the door and it was loud so she just decided to get up.

Then she gave me my wet food!

I'm currently kneading her lap, and she hopes I settle down for a nap soon so she can go in the piggy room.

She never stays mad but she isn't happy with me, either.
 
I want ALL the attention. Chez was mid zoom and mom was watching him but I decided to scratch on the piggy door so I could sit on her lap. Now I'm purring and she can't go back in there till I'm sound asleep, and they'll be taking naps till noon.

So maybe she'll just have to do her Farsi lesson.

She works tonight and I get separation anxiety when she works late.
