They can be anything really. 'Liner' just means whatever you use to line them. They can be made to go over the coroplast at the sides, or just flat liners like 'mats' which go on the floor. Mine are just towel and fleece sewn together into a square pad and laid on the floor of the cage.

I buy all my fleeces from Primark, the quality and price I find ranges from good to very good at the branch I go to. I have 17 fleeces and 12 thick large towels (also from Primark), but you do not need this many, just a spare set for when the dirty ones goes in the wash.

For the base I put down 5 layers of newspaper, then 2 layers of Towels, I put 3 layers of Towels where I know they Pee More frequently. I then use 4 doubled over fleeces across the base on top of the towels. I spot clean them daily and completly change all the bedding every 3-4 days. On occasions I may change an individual towel and fleece if I believe its to damp. Washing is continuous though!

Thank you! This is really helpful. How do you find the bills though? :)
For me, any Birthday, Christmas or Fathers day presents are Money put aside for any of my boys medical bills. I no longer buy protein powder for the gym and I quit my keeping aquarium hobby to ensure I have enough funds for my boys to have a decent happy life. I don't feel there's any sacrifice, I'm actually extremely happy with things this way.

Wow, that's very kind of you to do that much. I'm currently relying on my parents, so I can't make anything too expensive.
