Another day, another visit to the vet

:( I'm so sorry Dora's on such a rollercoaster, I hope the blood tests give some better news.
 
So sorry you are having to endure such a stressful time and poor Dora too! Sending hugs and sincere best wishes for her recovery
 
Dora's blood tests showed a high white cell count and her urine shows signs of infection. So more ABs. She is still struggling to maintain her body temperature so she is spending another night in the hospital. Our poor girl.

The good news is that she is much brighter today, so fingers crossed things will continue to improve.

Sadly Dora took a turn for the worse this afternoon. We managed to get to the vets to say our goodbyes and I held her while she was helped across the rainbow bridge. Our hearts are broken.

Sleep tight my beautiful girl. Your handsome Ginger Pig will be waiting for you at the bridge. 💕🌈🐾
 
Oh Yvonne, I don't have the words :( I'm so, so sorry she couldn't make it, thinking of you both right now.
 
Oh Yvonne my heart sank when I read that Dora had had to be helped over the Bridge. Hugs to you at this difficult time.
 
Oh I’m so sorry Yvonne, I’ve missed the recent updates, sending big hugs to you and Allan. Dora was very loved and she’ll have known just how much you both cared :hug:

BIG HUGS

I am so sorry. You have all tried your very best for her but her little body has obviously just had enough... We tend to forget how small animals they are because they have such huge personalities and we love them so much.

You haven't failed Dora in any way. It was just her time.

Be kind with yourself. You have had some bad hits in recent times and each loss brings up the others again that are not yet fully digested to a certain degree.

She had such a wonderful life with you and she will will leave a big hole in your heart.

I’m absolutely gutted for you Yvonne. Dora knew how much you loved her. It’s very special to be with them at the very end and to help ease their suffering. Huge hugs to you both xx Sleep tight beautiful Dora xx
 
I am so sorry to read you have lost Dora. You did everything possible for her and gave her last great act of kindness in helping her over the bridge xx
