"Our Feathered Friends"

DSC_0300.webp

I'd started this before I knew about next week's move and between getting Cam's ashes and needing to redo the adoption application (my brain files it as paperwork, and I'm lucky if I remember my own name for paperwork lol) I figured I'd get doing some of it tonight instead.

Sorry about the angle. I couldn’t persuade my photos to turn the orientation.

If you like this one @Lorcan I can bring it to the Potteries Christmas fair for you.
It’s a 1000 piece puzzle.

Leave a few jigsaws for me as well. I may bring some of mine, too. :)

I now have a crick in my neck looking sideways at this puzzle!

That looks as if it was a challenge.
Beautiful picture

It was a challenge! My daughter and I started it at her house at Christmas. We didn't finish it and we had a go at it the next 2 visits I made. In the end she was fed up with her kitchen table in her living room and we broke it up. I brought it here and decided now the weather isn't calling me into the garden to try again. I hate giving up, my OH said to say he put in the 5 most important bits!

Lovely picture @Merab . I love Shaftesbury it's one of my favourite places, not that I've been there for years.
I've picked out my next puzzle and put it on the table ready to start. I keep looking at it and thinking I've done it before but I think it's just similar to one I've done.

I have two of the big B&M bags in the loft full of puzzles I've done and would like to do again. I've also got about 10 I haven't done yet! I got 5 more this week as the PDSA charity shop has reduced theirs to £1, there were so many nice ones I had to stock up. It's a shame we don't all live closer together we could do a puzzle swap.

If there’s a forum meet in Salisbury we could meet there and swap puzzles 😊
Mine usually end up at the Potteries Christmas fair.
The canal side puzzle is reserved for @Lorcan already.

That is a good idea. I was hoping to go to the last one but it was my daughters birthday and I was in Wales.

I do them for a Charity shop (Thrift Store?) to check all the pieces are there.
So the Stratford puzzle is destined for the recycling then ?
A missing piece is so frustrating.

I do find sometimes that when there’s a missing piece it mysteriously reappears when I go back to the puzzle 😁

Or it's on the bathroom.

Or just inside the kitchen door.

Or one of the goblins nicked it and then forgot about it.

Or it's on the floor but you'll not find it til you go downstairs and get a doughnut.
