@Adelyn's Piggies

I’m very happy to introduce you to Sunny! :love:
She is six weeks old ❤️

Here’s some backstory on her that the rescue provided. Her parents were part of a large group of piggies dumped behind a bowling alley. They were picked up by the Douglas County Animal intake, who quickly realized that 8 of the females were pregnant! They didn’t have the proper space/experience for them, so Oakhurst Guinea Pig Rescue kindly took in all the females. Soon after, little Sunny was born.

I took Clover and Stella to the rescue for a bonding session with Sunny and they immediately hit it off. Zero signs of aggression. In fact, Clover and Stella seemed quite surprised by this bold little piggy marching up to them and sniffing them all over. XD

During the bonding session.

After more than an hour, we decided that they had accepted each other. Sunny came home with us!
She is certainly not a scaredy pig. Within minutes of placing her in the cage, she began popcorning around in glee! Poor Clover and Stella are baffled by this little ball of energy :lol:

The first full day is over, and everything is going better than l'd hoped! My first impression was correct, Sunny is a bold little piggy. :D While I was sweeping the cage out, I thought she'd go and hide. She's a baby in a new place! But no ... she marched right up to me, her little tufts of hair bobbing up and down, and tried to nibble on the mini dustpan :)) She’s absolutely adorable.

Stella seems to have taken Sunny under her wing. She is the one comforting Sunny if she gets nervous, and she has been nibbling/licking around Sunny’s eye a lot :wub: I’m very glad about that because Stella is the most dominant one.

Here are some pigtures, because I’ve been taking tons. Sunny’s pink little puppy dog nose is so cute:wub::wub::wub:
