11 week old runt losing weight

Sending you all the luck for Clover, what a gorgeous little girl. I hope it’s good news on the 26th 🤞and she makes more progress x

So happy that clover seems to be improving.. fingers crossed for 26th! Keep us updated :)

PS She's a stunner!

Update...

Clover saw Kim today and she was really impressed with her progress. She's doubled her weight in 3 weeks. Her teeth had overgrown but nothing like the extent of last time and she thinks the dental disease may well be curable in the near future.

However, as great as this news was, it was bittersweet for us as I can't commit to the initially regular care needed and the 9 (!) hour round trip it ends up being for us. Clover has gone to stay with Debbie at TEAS on a provisionally boarding basis until we can ascertain if it's realistic for us to have her back in a few weeks/months.

Thank you for all your help and input this far, it's been fantastic.

That’s great news about clover. It’s completely understandable that you feel you can’t continue the high level of care that she needs. Well done for addressing it and coming up with a viable solution. I hope everything works out and Clover
Is able to come home soon. ❤️

Thanks for the update and it’s good to hear a positive prognosis for Clover.
I’m just so sorry that you face such a difficult decision about long term care.

Just a thought - once Clover’s initial situation has been dealt with would Simon be willing to consult with a vet who is more accessible for you?

Holding you in my heart

So pleased to hear Clover is doing so well - well done to you for believing in her and giving her such a great chance. And also for finding the right kind of help.

I hope you will be able to welcome her back home in the near future. In the meantime, you know she is in great hands

So pleased to hear that Clover is doing well. It must have been a hard decision for you to place her with TEAS. However, Debbie is amazing at caring for these special piggies and Clover will have a fabulous life there if she can't come home to you. You need to do what is right for both Clover and yourself in the long term. x

She looks so bright and perky. I hope that her teeth will become less of an issue over time.

Thank
Clover has settled in beautifully. She’s such a little character and keeps running down the cage to check out Gizmo, who is in the cage next to her! She’s been eating lots and is really bright and lovely! View attachment 184186

Thank you so much Debbie! She is gorgeous and we miss her very much but we know she'll get everything she needs with you. Fingers crossed she keeps getting much better 🤞

Aw, this is wonderful news about Clover, isn’t she doing so well. Clover is in the very best of hands with Kim and Simon and Debbie who is very experienced and has years of looking after dental piggies. My dental piggie Ted boarded with Debbie for 3 months last year in lockdown when it was difficult to travel 😄 We eventually got him back although we did have to carry on with regular dentals which we were lucky to share with another couple from Devon who had two dental piggies so we took it in turns

Just saw this thread! Oh Clover, you are looking so amazing! So glad she’s doing so well! :luv:
And Debbie you are amazing!:)xx

So lovely to see how well Clover is doing. She has grown so much since those first photographs. ❤️ ❤️

The fact she is doing so well, is all down to the amazing skill of Simon and Kim Maddock! However, so many vets still criticise what they do!
Great news about Clover, Simon is a life saver as many of us who are “in the know” know. He certainly gave my Ted an extra 2.5 years of happy and healthy life x
